Extended data:
Tales of Wonders is a collection of poems written by Wang Zhu in Song Dynasty. Later generations compiled "prodigy poems" based on some poems by Wang Zhu and others.
In fact, the poems handed down from ancient times are not all the works of young prodigies, nor are they all written by Wang Zhu alone, but have been revised and supplemented by the poems of Sui and Tang Dynasties and even the Southern and Northern Dynasties. Most titles are added separately. Poetry is a five-character quatrain, with neat meter and easy-to-understand words, which is a model for teenagers to learn poetry.
The continuation of prodigy's poetry talk was written by Jiangning Bookstore in Qing Dynasty (now Nanjing, Jiangsu Province) for the purpose of "cultivating temperament and opening atmosphere" in view of the lack of teaching on children's moral conduct in prodigy's poetry talk. Although the literary talent is not good, it has also been a smash hit. Because it is easy to understand, it has guiding significance for moral cultivation and life.
