The glaciers thaw and all the birds sing. With the advent of a new era, Lu Jian and many suffering "old poets" quietly returned. Lu Jian serves as the editorial board member of "Chinese Literature". After returning, Lu Jian was high-spirited and energetic. Instead of being silent, he began another "explosion period" of poetry creation. The total volume after the resumption of creation even exceeded the youth period before liberation. More importantly, compared with the early and middle lyric poems, Lu Jian's works after his return have undergone great changes in ideological connotation and overall style. In the poet's own words, that is, "I feel deep contemplation and emotion." , once it washes along China, its quality will become more substantial." Looking at Lu Jian's works of more than ten years in the new period, in terms of the themes involved, they generally include the following aspects: First, historical and political themes. For example, "How Can I Forget", "Answer", "Phoenix's Dream", "I Am Not Dead", "Leaves", "Silence", etc. are all popular masterpieces. The poem "Silence" has rich and solemn historical content and has been praised as an "immortal work". The poet wrote at the end:
Why, why are you silent?
No, I seem to hear it from the heart of your giant statue,
The awakening spring thunder rolls faintly in the distance.
You seem to be on the eve of some kind of historical change.
The second is the theme of life existence. It mainly includes poems about objects, confessional poems, poems about gifts and answers, and poems about paintings. The third is the theme of finding roots in the countryside. For example, "My Village", "There is a Mountain in My Hometown", "Three Poems from Hometown", "Land", "Qingshiguan", etc. are all famous poems praised. In his later years, Lu Jian also recognized local poetry. In "Soil" written in 1983, the poet wrote:
Yes, I am a descendant of the soil,
I am a tree, as well,
< p>Whether it’s a piece of grass,it’s all the roots extending out from here.
Later, the poet said many times: Many of my poems use my hometown as the theme. My feelings are always inseparable from it, and it often comes to my dreams. I have always been a country boy, from heart to appearance, and I believe my poems are full of country love and a sense of sorrow.
