1. Confucius, named Zhong Ni, was born in the Spring and Autumn Period (now Qufu, Shandong). He was a great thinker, educator and founder of Confucianism in China, and was later called a "saint". The Analects of Confucius is a book that records the words and deeds of Confucius and his disciples, with a total of 20 articles. It is one of the classic works of Confucianism and a recorded prose. Zhu in the Southern Song Dynasty co-edited it with Mencius, Daxue and The Doctrine of the Mean into four books. After the Ming dynasty, it became a must-read in the imperial examination. The five classics include poetry, calligraphy, ceremony, change, spring and autumn.
2. Guan Ju was selected from The Book of Songs Nan Zhou, and Jia Jian was selected from The Book of Songs Qin Feng. The Book of Songs is the earliest collection of poems in China, including 305 poems from the Western Zhou Dynasty to the Spring and Autumn Period, also known as "300 poems", which are divided into "style" and "elegance". 3. The Debate over Cao Gui is selected from Zuo Zhuan, Ten Years of Zhuang Gong and Zuo Zhuan. Old Biography was written by Zuo Qiuming in the Spring and Autumn Period, and people think it belongs to the Warring States Period. It is a masterpiece of history and literature, which records the politics, economy, diplomacy, culture and other aspects of the vassal States in the Spring and Autumn Period. Also known as Chronicle of Spring and Autumn Zuozhuan.
