Appreciation and Translation of Lu's Difficult to Walk

Difficult to walk Original: Have you seen the dead wood lying in Gutian near the Wei Bridge in the north of Chang 'an City? In the past, it contained red and purple, and it often left fog and smoke. Spring is like snow, and cars are like jade. If a tourist does not compete, if a family advocate does not give up. Advocate family heirloom socks, dragons and silver saddles must be ridden. Orioles always spend a lot of time in spring, playing in twos and threes. Thousands of feet has hundreds of feet of branches, and osmanthus and sapphire cover up each other. Mandarin ducks on coral leaves, chicks in phoenix nests. The nest falls and the phoenix returns, and a dead leaf falls and the wind blows. Once scattered, nobody cares, but the torch of eternal destruction, you know? Life is endless, and it is difficult to rely on it for a long time. Who can stay in Xishan for a day? Who can weir the east flowing water? Han Jialing is full of Qinchuan trees, so it's a pity to walk around. From the past to the present, there are 2,000 stones, and the plan is brilliant for 10,000 years. I can't see my lips turning white, but I can smell thorns and dead people. Gold mink must change wine from time to time, and jade dust is not money. Send a message and sit in the guest fairy department, and you will die in this life. The black dragon sparrow gentleman won't come. I should go to Baihe Mountain. When will hearts meet when the sea is in trouble? I hope Yao will live for a million years, and I will grow into a nest without hesitation!

The difficult appreciation began with the "Hundred Good Styles" in the Han Dynasty, sighing that the Six Dynasties were facing each other, and the seven-character poems gradually caught up with the five-character poems. Since the early Tang Dynasty, it has been divided into two branches, namely, the newly-born near-physical discipline and Yuefu singing. "Four outstanding poets in the early Tang Dynasty" also made great contributions to the seven-character ancient poems. Lu's "Chang 'an Ancient Meaning" and "Difficult to Go to Heaven" are representative works in this respect.

Difficult to Walk is an old topic in Yuefu Zaju. Before Lu, Bao Zhao wrote a seven-character poem "Difficult to Walk", which made rhyme and long sentences turn, fully expressing the feeling of sadness. Lu's songs stretch calmly and rhyme slowly and repeatedly; Its rhythm, rhetoric and antithesis are obviously influenced by the poems of the Six Dynasties, and also reflect the artistic characteristics of the period of poetic style change.

The whole poem consists of forty sentences and is divided into two parts.

The first part, from the beginning to "the eternal destruction of your knowledge?" "Beside the Wei Bridge in the north of Chang 'an City" is an empty meaning, that is, things are different, which is associated with the dead tree lying in Furutanaka. "Past" leads to the following sentence 16, which vividly presents and renders the youthful years that the "dead tree" once had. Around it, there are "thousands of feet hundred feet long branches", an oriole play in spring, a phoenix coming to the nest, and Yuanyang living in two places. Noble osmanthus green elm trees are also attached to the shade, and even BMW cars often pass by, and the sound of hooves is heard intermittently; Rich and frivolous son, coquettish and advocating women, competing to compare, climbing the dragon and attaching the phoenix. With neat structure and gorgeous language, the poet showed my readers the whole volume of the prosperous city and luxurious life of Chang 'an in the early Tang Dynasty. Readers seem to be there, but they clearly feel the poet's calm attitude. Judging from the choice of words and characters, tidy even sentences and change to avoid dullness and disorder; Overlapping words add a sense of contrast and rhythm to the composition. The last two sentences are the key and theme of the whole poem. Starting from the reality of "once and for all, no one asked", and from this, the idea of "destroying the monarch through the ages" has been as good as Huan Wen's understanding of cosmic life as "how can people get down", which further sublimates the meaning of Bi Xing.

In the second part, from "life has no beginning" to the last sentence, the metaphor "dead wood" appears as ontology "life". "Start" means infinity. The fleeting life and the long and infinite years make people's minds confused by the eternal natural contradictions, and a series of lyric images unfold. Under Whose Home (until When Will the Hearts Meet), the narrative angle is constantly changed, which makes the single theme of life and death multi-layered and rich in connotation. First write that time flies, no one can stop it, and then write about the change of the dynasty, Qinchuan Hanling, helpless; Write wealth or wealth again, and immediately return to Green Ridge. From this, it is further pointed out that wealth can not be arrogant and friendship can not be relied on, and all of them adopt overlapping or contrast methods. Gold mink for wine, based on Li Bai's "Into the Wine"; "Jade dust" refers to the flying dust raised by jade horse. It seems that overeating and swimming have solved life and death, but in fact, they show the anguish that cannot be removed. Since fame and fortune are only fleeting, we have to invite friends to visit immortals to solve our grievances. Therefore, Taoism prevailed in the Tang Dynasty, and many bureaucrats and scholars accepted Taoism. The poet said: Even if there is a difference between life and death on weekdays, as long as the deadline arrives and you don't get to the "Black Dragon Quexia" (the floorboard of the Eastern God Black Dragon, the seven stars of the East), I will have emerged in front of Baihe Mountain. As for the fairy mountain on the sea between clouds, the immortal elixir is even more elusive.

Both Taoism and Buddhism have the theory of reincarnation. Even if we take a step back and seek the rebirth of Junko, when will it be? On the surface, it is negative, depressed and even degenerate. In fact, it still reflects the enthusiasm and persistent pursuit of life. So the last two sentences are "I wish I had a million years in Yao, and I would take work as my nest!" " In the year of Yao, generations live a long life; Chao Fu and Xu You, ancient hermits. "I hope" and "long-term work" show that his words are sincere. Lu was poisoned by taking Dan medicine, and his hands and feet twitched. Finally, he got a serious illness and jumped into the water. There seems to be a confession here. He only prayed for the health and longevity of normal people, and did not expect wealth and longevity.

The most outstanding contribution of the four outstanding poets in the early Tang Dynasty to the transformation of poetic style is to expand the realm of time and space, and turn their eyes from the palace to the society and to the colorful real life. They often have a thought-provoking understanding and interpretation of history, life, material and ideals, which makes poetry magnificent, philosophical and of profound social significance.
