The word "best version" itself is problematic. Art is not technology and cannot be quantified, so the best version should vary from person to person.

Bruno Walter 1952 I have the original. Mahler's student Walter premiered this masterpiece at 19 1 1. His interpretation should be the closest to Mahler himself, and Catherine Ferrer's performance is regarded as a masterpiece of the world.

Of course, Otto klemperer's version is first-class, and the sound effect is better than Bruno Walter's version.
