Qingming calligraphy works

The Qingming calligraphy works are as follows:

1. Seal script | Qingming

Author: Li Si (Qin, 284 BC - 208 BC).

A native of Chu, a famous politician, writer and calligrapher in the Qin Dynasty.

2. Official script | Qingming

Author: "Cao Quan Stele".

Established in 185 AD, it is a masterpiece of official script in the Eastern Han Dynasty.

3. Official script | Qingming

Author: "Ode to the Stone Gate" was carved in 148 AD, in official script on Moya.

It is the finest official script of the Eastern Han Dynasty in China and a representative work of cliff carvings.

Known as the originator of Caoli, he had a huge influence on the subsequent development of calligraphy art.

4. Official Script | Qingming

Author: Yi Bingshou (1754-1815), with the courtesy name Zusi and the nickname Moqing.

A native of Tingzhou, Fujian, he was a great calligrapher in the Qing Dynasty.

He was a Jinshi in the 54th year of Qianlong's reign. He served successively as the head of the Ministry of Punishment and later promoted to Yuanwailang.

5. Cursive Script | Qingming

Author: Zhang Xu (675-about 750).

Zi Bogao, a native of Suzhou in the Tang Dynasty.

A famous calligrapher in the Tang Dynasty, he was famous for his cursive script and was known as the "Sage of Cursive Calligraphy".
