What are the formal elements of Yang Weizhen's style?

The formal elements of Yang Weizhen's style mainly come from three aspects: one is Lu You's style, the other is Zhong You's book, and the third is Cao Zhang's book. The latter two are both evolved from official scripts, so they all have official laws and intentions. The simple taste of Lu You's books also comes from Zhong You's books, which contains the shadow of Cao Zhang. In his representative works, such as Poems from the Book, although there is no Cao Zhang's pen and wave form, its structure contains some Cao Zhang meaning. Therefore, it can be said that the naive situation of Yang Weizhen's style is based on the method of clock, which combines Cao Zhang, and Lu You's calligraphy in the Southern Song Dynasty has a direct influence on his books. From the comparison between Poems of Wandering Immortals and Poems, it can be seen that Zhen Jing's Poems of Guanyueyuan (photo 120) and Lu You's Poems of Zishu are the closest, especially Zhen Jing's Poems of Guanyueyuan.

But the former is clumsy and much simpler than the latter, and its pen is also different from the latter's fluency and dexterity. In composition, the former seems to be in a state of disorder, which is in harmony with its naive font and stippling form; The latter has a clear division of labor and even spacing. Generally speaking, it can be divided into internal cause and external cause. Internal factors: including one's own personality, experiences and encounters. External factors: family tradition, learning from teachers, mainstream social thoughts at that time, etc. Yang Weizhen (1296— 1370) was a famous poet, writer, painter and dramatist in the late Yuan Dynasty and early Ming Dynasty. The word Lianfu is named Tieya and Tiedi Road, and there are also Tiexin Road, Tieguan Road, Tielong Road and Meihua Road. In his later years, he was named Lao Tie, Bao Laoren and Dong Weizi. Yuan Shaoxing Road Zhuji State, Quantang (now Quantang Village, Qiao Feng Town, Zhuji City, Shaoxing City, Zhejiang Province).

Together with Lu, they are called "three outstanding men at the end of Yuan Dynasty". The most distinctive feature of Yang Weizhen's poems is his ancient Yuefu poems, which are graceful and touching, heroic and natural. They are called "iron cliff style" in history and are highly praised by scholars of all ages. Some people call him "a generation of poets" and "bringing forth the old and bringing forth the new", while others call him "a master of Jiangnan poetry at the end of Yuan Dynasty". He is the author of nearly 20 kinds of works, such as Spring and Autumn Annals, Poem Art Collection, Dongwei Subset, Tieya Ancient Yuefu, Li Ze's Legacy, and Retro Poetry Collection.
