The Creative Achievements of Jilin Writers Association

Jilin writers closely follow the pulse of the times, stick to being close to reality, life and the masses with keen vision, and create a large number of excellent works that reflect real life, reveal the spirit of the times, and are ideological and artistic with a sense of mission and full enthusiasm. According to preliminary statistics, the province has created and published * * * literary works 1450, including 323 novels, 90 short stories, 302 essays, 3 poems12, 44 literary criticism works, children's literature works 162 and 70 reportage works. * * * 80 works have won various literary awards at the provincial and ministerial levels. Among them, Nan Yongqian's poetry collection "Rong Yuan" and Ge Zhi's prose collection "Free Dance" won the eighth and ninth national minority literature creation "Horse Award" respectively. More than 70 works have been reprinted by Selected Novels, Novel Monthly, Xinhua Digest, Selected Novels, Selected China Literature, Selected Poems and Songs, Selected Prose, Selected Novelists and Selected Short Stories, and more than 50 works have been selected for various literary periodicals published nationwide. In recent Lu Xun Literature Awards, novels, essays, poems and literary criticism in Jilin Province have all been shortlisted, which shows that the overall level of literary creation in Jilin Province has entered the forefront of national awards. Novels by Jin Renshun, Zhu Riliang, Jun Gao, Wang Huaiyu, Hao Wei, Sun and others; Prose of Ren Linju, Hu Donglin, Gezhi, Yi Ning and others; Poems by Qu Youyuan, Guo,,,, Yu Yaojiang, Zhang Wei, Xiao, Gu Liandi, Wu, A Wei, Jiao and Hu Weimin; Short stories by Xu Xing, Yi Ning, Yu Debei and others; Children's literature works by Xue Weimin, Xie Hualiang, Ruth and others have attracted wide attention in the literary world.
