Welcome to Ningbo Wulongtan Scenic Area.
Wulongtan Scenic Area is located in Longguan Township, Yinxian County, a suburb of Ningbo, 35 kilometers away from downtown Ningbo. The scenic spot is a mountainous tourist area with a total area of 16. 17 square kilometers. The mountains in the scenic area are high and the valleys are deep, with Yamazaki's picturesque valleys and rich rural customs as the main features. The scenic spot is planned to build four functional areas: Folk Culture Expo Area, Longtan Waterfall Sightseeing Area, Leisure and Entertainment Resort Area and Guanding Mountain Amusement Area. Now we are located in Qingcaowan, Longguan Township, and the peak where the first five Longtan are located is Tianjing Mountain, which belongs to the Longtan Waterfall tourist area developed in the first phase.
Wulongtan enjoys a long-standing reputation in history, leaving five wells and twelve waterfalls in Longtan and Gulongtan. Since ancient times, people in Ningbo have believed in the efficacy of Wulongtan, and it has become a local custom to invite dragons to Tianjing Mountain to pray for rain and good weather. There are many beautiful and moving legends circulating nearby. The statue we see now is a legendary story about the origin of Wulongtan.
Southeast corner of sunrise, shine on me, Qin Lou. Qin has a good daughter who calls herself Luo Fu. When Monkey saw Luo Fu, he straightened his shoulders and smoothed his moustache. When the teenager saw Luo Fu, he took off his hat and hung his head. The tiller forgets to plow, and the hoe forgets to hoe. In spite of resentment, he sat watching Luo Fu. This poem is about how beautiful Luo Fu is. Shuanglong Bay is such a peerless beauty hidden in the deep mountains. It's Luofu in Qinling Mountains. Luofu has a beautiful face and noble character, and Shuanglong Bay also has her "beautiful natural and cultural landscape" waiting for you to discover. They are distributed in five major tourist areas. Now let's start this discovery journey together!
Behind Taohua Valley is 10 km deep. At present, only the first stage has been developed. You may find it strange. It is clearly the Peach Valley, but no peach trees have been found. Why is it called Peach Valley?
Look at these five statues. Among them, the elder is the mother named Xiuzhen, and the rest are her children. Legend has it that a long time ago, when Xiuzhen was a girl, one day she went to the river to fetch water. Suddenly, a red peach floated from the upper reaches of the river and refused to leave. Xiuzhen saw the peach was fat and red, so she ate it. Unexpectedly, her stomach grew bigger every day after eating it. It turns out that peaches are the dragon species of the East China Sea Dragon King. Later, Xiuzhen gave birth to a daughter and three sons. Never married, Xiuzhen's mother and son were discriminated against by the people and went begging in the streets. Xiuzhen once begged outside and went back to the temple where she stayed. When she opened the door, she found the children missing. Four dragons in the temple are playing around the pillar. These four dragons are obviously her own children. Xiuzhen fainted with a loud cry of fear. After waking up, Xiuzhen found herself a dragon. It turned out that God felt Xiuzhen's love for his son and couldn't bear to separate his mother from his son, so he turned Xiuzhen into a dragon, and later generations respectfully called her the Dragon Mother Empress. These five dragons all live in the courtyard mountain of Longguan, so there is Wulongtan.
Ok, now let's go deep into the valley. Looking around, green mountains and green waters, lush vegetation, we are in the valley. This green seems to have fallen from the sky, so this pavilion is called Luocui Pavilion.
Look to the left. This mountain is called Baizhangyan. The giant "dragon" on the rock is the ink left by Sha Menghai, a famous calligrapher in China and a native of Yinxian County, when he was 87 years old. The waterfall in front of the word "dragon" flows down from the top of the rock and is called Baizhang Waterfall.
Ladies and gentlemen, look around at the green hills and rolling peaks. I didn't know there were five dragon gods hidden in it. According to local records, the five dragon gods around the Dragon View were twice named Marquis, making them famous all over the world. Legend has it that during the Jian Yan period of the Southern Song Dynasty, nomadic people invaded the south on a large scale and burned and looted all the way to Mingzhou. Song Gaozong Zhao Gou crossed the Yaojiang River and hid in Mingzhou, which is now Ningbo. He called all the military forces to join forces to resist gold, and sent general Zheng Shizhong to guard the ancient town of Yinjiang. Nomads from the army repeatedly committed, stalemate for more than a month, the outcome is inseparable. One day, General Zheng suddenly had a brainwave, prepared three sacrificial gifts, rushed to Tianjing Mountain, kowtowed and bowed down, and prayed for the help of the Dragon Mother. So Wulong immediately led the troops to attack and launched a water war, which soon defeated them. Nomads from the North, Song Gaozong Lin 'an ascended the throne, and established the Southern Song Dynasty. Under the emperor's decree, the Five Dragons made meritorious deeds in resisting gold, and they were all named Marquis. The dragon mother empress was named the sage dragon mother, in charge of the dragon god of Siming Mountain.
Now we see a boulder in the middle of the stream, which looks like a closed mouth and is called "Shut up Stone". When we get here, everyone should hold their breath, don't make any noise, and we can't scare the Wulong Hall, because it will be there soon. Here you can listen carefully to the melody of the stream, like a dragon.
Ok, now we come to Wulong Shentang. According to historical records, during the reign of Emperor Xiantong of the Tang Dynasty (860 -873 AD), Hengli, the secretariat of Mingzhou, established the Five Dragon Temple in this courtyard. Wulong Temple, also known as Guanlong Temple, is dedicated to five gods, namely the Dragon King, Guan Gong, the Land, the Wild Boar and the Queen of Silkworm Flowers. As we all know, the Dragon King protects the favorable weather, Guan Gong protects prosperity and peace, the Land Lord protects the harvest of crops, and the Queen of Silkworm Flowers is the silkworm god. China was the first country to weave silkworms in the world, so the silkworm god was listed as the object of national worship in Shang Dynasty. Folk sacrifice to the silkworm god is to bless the cocoon harvest. But why do wild boars also like to sacrifice? Tourists, who can guess?
In fact, wild boar is a kind of herbivore, which breeds very fast and often appears in groups, infringing on the food of ordinary people. People are defenseless. In order to ensnare wild boar and make it a god, they often offer sacrifices, praying that wild boar will not invade crops and bless a bumper harvest. Rock waterfall. Wujing Longtan, also known as Chilongtan, is an important town in the south. It is called Chi Di in the south. Pray that Red Dragon can make the family happy and the marriage happy. Therefore, this is a "happy" pool. When the Five Dragon Gods were named five lords, the Red Dragon Gods were named King Jiaze, and the Five Wells Longtan was named Dragon Gods, and the Sect named it Hou Xianze.
There are also "Shu Qi Liu Fang Pool" and "Belon Gold Waterfall" among the trees opposite the colorful pool. Because it is in a remote place by the ditch, far from the sightseeing spot, so the tourists are very busy. The section from Yanzhengchi to Huanglong Middle Temple is a shrub in Lin Mang, and there is no colorful pool landscape. Only Suyun Bridge and Jiexian Bridge are welcoming the passing guests. Huanglong Middle Temple is about 3.5km away from Goukou and 1 km away from Housi. The original five temples in Huanglong Middle Temple, such as Maitreya Buddha, Lingguan, Tianwang, Giant Buddha and Guanyin, are all single-eaved, and now only 1 Kannonji is left for tourists to rest.
Now we come to Longtan, the first well, engraved with "Fuze Lake". The name of this lake was sealed by Zhang Qiyuan, the deputy envoy of the Tang Dynasty in Jiangsu and Zhejiang provinces in the 26th year of Yongzheng (AD 1366). According to folklore, there is a dragon in this pool, also called Qinglong Lake. Qinglong is an important town in the east, and it is called Di Qing in the East. The local villagers think that Qinglong can keep peace and pray for blessings, and regard this pool as a "blessing" pool. In the second year of Song Huizong Daguan, that is,11October 2008, the emperor proclaimed the world, making Wulong the Five Emperors and Qinglong the King of Ren Guang. In the early Qing Dynasty in Song Lizong (1259), this pool was named the first well, Dragon God Fuze, to show his blessing.
The second well, Longtan, is called swamp lake. According to folklore, there is a black dragon in the pond, so it is also called Black Dragon Lake. The northern part of Black Dragon King Town is called Hei Di in the North. The local villagers thought that the Black Dragon was in charge of the official positions of men and women, so they asked officials to worship in this pool first. This is the "Lu" pool. In the second year of Song Huizong Daguan, that is,11October 2008, it was announced that all the Five Dragon Gods in the world were named Five Lords. He named the Black Dragon God King of Ling Ze. Later, the ancient emperor specially sealed Wulongtan twice. In the early Qing Dynasty in Song Lizong (A.D. 1259), they sealed the second well, the Longshen Marsh, to show good luck. In the twenty-sixth year from Huizong to Zheng Zheng (AD 1366), Zhang Qiyuan, the deputy envoy of Jiangsu and Zhejiang Bank, asked the emperor for instructions and named him the second well, Guangli Marsh Hou.
The peak we saw in front of us is called Yuquan Peak, which is the strangest and most beautiful of the five peaks in Tianjing Mountain. The locals call it the dog's head and neck and say it looks like a dog's neck. Some people call it "Folding Dragon Chant", saying that it is like several faucets overlapping up and down, upturned neck and singing Long song. The topmost stone is the horn of the dragon. What do you think, tourists?
It can be seen from many stone tablets that the Five Old Peaks once had a prosperous history of thousands of years, and there are also many anecdotes in folklore. In the Song Dynasty, Yang Ye stationed troops here to practice martial arts, and Sun Feihu, who surrounded Pujiu Temple, camped here. Taoist figures such as Zhang, Zhang and Zhang have many legendary anecdotes, which add to the mystery of the Five Old Peaks. Every year from the first day of July to the fifteenth day of July, there are tens of thousands of merchants and officials from north and south. The existing woodcut "Jade Pillar and Clear Peak Map" in Wanli period of Ming Dynasty and "New Scenery Map of Southwest Wulaofeng in Yuxiang County, Shanxi Province" printed in the early years of the Republic of China vividly depict the prosperity at that time. Until the Japanese invasion, there were more than 40 teahouses and restaurants along the way from Xiguan in Yuxiang Township at the foot of the mountain to Yuzhu Peak at the foot of the mountain. The temple in Yamaguchi and the Liyuan social drama were staged in turn, and the sound was lingering. Folk entertainment activities and games to meet the gods are very lively. Later, due to various reasons, the Five Old Peaks gradually declined and were little known.
Zhang used to live in Huangmao Mountain at the foot of Yunlong Mountain. He has a garden house, horses and servants, which can be said to be a big family. His father Zhang Xifu believes in Taoism, and his mother Li believes in Taoism and Buddhism. Zhang himself loves poetry, is good at playing the piano, and often cultivates self-cultivation. When you have time, go into the mountains to collect herbs and live in seclusion. Su Shi has been in Xuzhou for two years and made many friends. Among them, he thinks that the civilian friend is this Zhangshan person. Zhang domesticated two cranes and built a grass pavilion on Yunlong Mountain, named "He Fangting". For this reason, Su Shi wrote an essay "He Fangting", which has become a famous essay that has been passed down through the ages. The Hefang Pavilion has been rebuilt many times in history. The three-character plaque "He Fangting" was originally written by Emperor Qianlong and was later destroyed. 1978 was hung on the pavilion in calligraphy by Su Shi.
Legend has it that the five dragons in the Dragon Scene are Qinglong, Black Dragon, White Dragon and Red Dragon. Except the dragon mother who became Huanglong because of her long life, other brothers and sisters can't tell who is the white dragon and who is the black dragon. Now we are in Longtan, the third well, which is the bedroom of the Dragon Mother, the center of Huanglong, the main town of Huanglong, and is called the Central Yellow Emperor. Local people think that praying for Huanglong can lead to longevity, so this pool is called "Longevity Pool" and Song Huizong Grand View. In the early Qing Dynasty, the third well in Longtan was named Guangzehou in 1259. In the sixteenth year of Wen Huizong, the emperor named him Guangji Runze Hou in 1366.
Silongtan is the most beautiful of the five dragon pools, surrounded by slippery rock walls, and a white practice hangs down like a cornucopia in the heavenly palace. According to legend, this pool is the location of Bailong, also known as Bailongtan. Bailong is an important town in the west and is known as Xibaidi. The local people believe that the White Dragon is in charge of the wealth of the world, and this pool is sacrificed as a "wealth" pool. When the five dragon gods were all made lords, the White Dragon God was made King Iggy, and Song Lizong was made Dragon God and Zehou. Hui Yuan Yi was named Zehou, Li Guanghui. The four dragon pools are bottomless and open to the sea. In the past, people in Ningbo invited dragons to pray for rain during drought, and the Dragon Boat Festival came here in 2008. So there are many taboos here, such as no fishing, no washing hands first, no swimming in the water, no throwing dirt into the pond and so on. Legend has it that the fourth pool is also the palace of the Dragon King. When the Dragon King went ashore from the East China Sea to visit the west, he had to rest here for one night first, so he had to keep it absolutely clean. Once polluted, the Dragon King could not survive, so it was windy and rainy to wash Longtan, which was called "washing Longtan". The "washing Longtan" in the memory of Dragon Watcher happened twice. Once, there was a great drought and all the seedlings died. It's no use asking the dragon for rain. An old monk had a plan, jumped into Silongtan and drowned. The little white dragon who lives here was furious. It rained for three days to wash Longtan, and the drought was relieved. On another occasion, a woman in Yinjiang jumped into Silongtan in a rage because she quarreled with her husband. When people picked up her body, the sky was still clear and there were no clouds in Wan Li. Suddenly, it was cloudy, the rain poured down and the yard was flooded by flash floods. This is also a dragon prince washing Longtan.
Dear tourists, now we have been boating in Longhu. I hope this sparkling clear water can wash away the dust and bring you a good mood all the way.
There is a bamboo gallery teahouse in front, where everyone can drink tea and have a rest.
There is also a very unique place in our dragon belief in eastern Zhejiang, that is, dragons have real bodies and tangible bodies. The visible form of the dragon is antlers, snake body, chicken feet, crocodile head and fish tail, which can be seen in various pictures, sculptures, paper-cuts and ornaments. What is a real dragon body? Locals believe that dragons are cultivated by animals such as people, animals, birds, fish and insects. The five dragons in Wulongtan are black snake, red collar frog, red bearded frog, sand loach and river eel.
Now we come to Longtan, the fifth well, which is the most dangerous one among the five dragon pools. Sandwiched between huge stones, it consists of two connected pools, one is a bedroom and the other is a washbasin. The waterfall above Longtan is called whirlpool waterfall, and the waterfall below is called Han Yan waterfall. Wujing Longtan, also known as Chilongtan, is an important town in the south. It is called Chi Di in the south. Pray that Red Dragon can make the family happy and the marriage happy. Therefore, this is a "happy" pool. When the Five Dragon Gods were named five lords, the Red Dragon Gods were named Jiaze King, and the Five Wells Longtan was named Yingzehou, the Dragon Gods, and the Sect named it Xianzehou.
Ladies and gentlemen, standing in front of us is the Dragon Boat Festival Station, which, as the name implies, is the place where the Dragon Boat Festival is held. In the past, there were three major sacrifices at the Dragon Boat Festival in eastern Zhejiang: one was to invite dragons for rain, the other was to send them away, and the third was the Dragon Boat Festival, the birthday of the Dragon King. The earliest Dragon Boat Festival terrace was built in the Tang Dynasty, where local villagers prayed for good weather. Every year, during the Spring Festival and the 16th day of the sixth lunar month, or the county magistrate of the old county, they will come here to offer sacrifices and pray for the peace of the country and people. Later, Ningbo Prefecture moved from Yinjiang to Sanjiangkou, which made it inconvenient to communicate with each other. The task of the Dragon Boat Festival was handed over to the magistrate of Yinxian County. However, after the end of the Qing Dynasty, the magistrate was sparse and the dragon altar was gradually abandoned. The reconstructed Dragon Boat Festival column is 9 meters high and 2.5 meters in diameter, and consumes 70 tons of Fujian malachite green. Such a huge dragon totem pole is rare in China.
Located in the city center, backed by the Beiling Mountain Range. The Seven Qifeng is named because it looks like the Big Dipper. There are many legends about the origin of Qixingyan. It is said that the seven peaks of Qixingyan are seven spiritual stones left by the goddess. It is said that the seven fairies in the sky envy the world, love Zhaoqing alone and never return to the world.
Ok, that's all for today. Just now, we took the road north of the valley. Now, please walk back along the road on the south side of the valley and enjoy the scenery of the peaks on both sides of Longtan Valley. Thank you!
Entering the ground floor of the pavilion, there is a long Buddhist altar. In the middle of the painting, for example, there are Buddha statues, Buddha statues and lotus stands 5.5 meters high. On the left and right are statues of "Top Ten Monks", which are 3 meters high. They listened attentively, thoughtfully, with rich expressions and different expressions. An official statue in front of the Buddhist altar in the temple is a portrait of Wang Xi and Wang Jian, masters of Honghu. They stood around and listened to the sermon, looking very pious.
