Ten years later, in 2006, Bob Dylan was nominated for Nobel Prize in Literature again for his memoir Like a Rolling Stone. At that time, the Nobel Committee commented on Bob Dylan in this way: "He integrated the form of poetry and the idea of paying attention to social issues into his music, and his songs passionately expressed his concern about serious global issues such as civil rights, world peace and environmental protection."
Bob Dylan also won many awards, including Grammy, Golden Globe and Oscar. When winning the Pulitzer Prize for Literature in 2008, the jury called it "a far-reaching influence on pop music and American culture, and an extraordinary poetic power in lyrics creation".
The Swedish Academy awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature of 20 16 to Bob Dylan, a 75-year-old American musician and poet, at Stockholm local time 10, Sweden, in recognition of his "creation of a new poetic expression in the great American song tradition". Although Bob Dylan has been active in the music circle for more than 30 years, his lyrics are considered as "a poem when reading aloud", and American poet allen ginsberg once rated him as "the best poet".
