In his short life, Xian Xinghai composed hundreds of musical works and a large number of music papers. His main works include: the symphony "National Liberation" and "Holy War", the orchestral suite "Man Jiang Hong", Orchestral music "Chinese Rhapsody", violin piece "Guo Zhel? 6? 1 Bidai" and other works. There are nearly 300 surviving works, including four cantatas, two operas, two symphonies, four symphonic suites, more than 200 songs, and more than ten instrumental pieces. He has published more than 30 music papers including "Nie Er-The Creator of China's Emerging Music" and "On the National Forms of Chinese Music".
