1 1 ... you still won't answer me. This is what God said.
12 o Israel, I will do this to you. O Israel, since I have done this, I should prepare to meet your God.
When I was a child, I often heard my mother sing this poem "When you are ready to meet your God! Get ready to meet your God! He who should come will come without delay, so be ready to meet your God! " Decades later, the Lord still hasn't come. Am I ready? What do you need to prepare? How to prepare?
If we can bring gifts to meet God and please him, what should we prepare? If nothing we can do can make him love us more, what's the point of preparation? This passage actually gives us a warning and reminder. God didn't visit us. When he comes, it means that there will be no chance to change and no room for escape! When he comes, every soul needs to pay the bill!
No matter what state we are in now, when he comes, it is the end of time and the end of the whole world. Every day, I see and hear all kinds of early warnings in the world, reminding us that the day of his arrival is near, but as long as he is less than one day, mankind will still live in a dream. No matter how he invited, persuaded, begged, reminded, disciplined and summoned, someone still didn't answer him!
"You still don't back to me. This is what the Lord said! " Repeatedly, read people's hearts! Just like a patient and patient father, no matter what he does, he can't win the attention and response of his children. God really didn't mistreat any soul. On that day, there will be no excuse to accuse God of not giving himself a chance to turn over!
In this way, the only way to prepare to meet God anytime and anywhere is not to do a bunch of good deeds and wait for returns, but to turn to him at all times! This means looking at our inner situation every day. No matter what we do or encounter, we need to be responsible to God and be ready to meet him at any time! What can I repay God? I will lift the cup of salvation and give thanks to his name! If his rescue was not in vain, what else could I prepare to meet him?
Pray:
Lord! Thank you for your compliment! Because of your grace, I can meet you at any time without fear, because I wear Jesus in your eyes! I also ask the Lord to give me a sober and alert soul, so that I can turn to you alone every day, turn to you and look to you to create and complete my confidence! Amen!
