Peterak's representative poems

Peterak's representative works include Ode to God and Ode to Italy. The following three poems are selected from his masterpiece "God of Songs".

1, Laura Peterak

If I dare to tell my feelings to the portrait,

But if I see anything in her brow,

But can she answer, only hate the silence of the portrait?

I admire Bi's love for wood and stone, alas!

Be affectionate with the people in the painting for thousands of times;

I hope I'm lucky, even if it's only this once.

Have a heart-to-heart talk with the person you love in the painting

2. "I'm alone"

I'm alone, full of thoughts,

Wandering in the wildest wilderness.

I'm wary, I'm careful to avoid it,

All the places where people's footprints are printed

I can't find any other obstacles to cover up,

Can separate me from the crowd.

Because people use my sad expression,

You can see through the fire inside me at a glance.

Now, despite my secrecy,

Coastal and mountainous areas, forests and running water,

I don't know the real purpose of my life.

But I can't find my way to such a wilderness.

So Cupid can't follow me,

Arguing with me all day.

3. Loyalty of love

Whether I'm braving the scorching sun in the south,

Or where the sun can't melt the ice and snow,

Or in warm land with clear weather,

Crazy or philosopher,

Whether my status is noble or humble,

Whether the night is long or the day is short,

Whether it's sunny or cloudy,

Whether it is a prime of life or a pair of temples;

Whether I am on earth, in hell or in heaven,

In floods, or in high mountains and deep valleys,

Regardless of sickness and health, happiness and sadness,

No matter where you live, freedom or slavery,

I will always belong to her, even if I hope,

Yong Cheng bubble, this idea has satisfied me.
