In the early years of the Eastern Zhou Dynasty, Xirong harassed constantly, so Qin Xianggong was ordered by the Emperor of Zhou to crusade against Xirong and seize hundreds of miles of land, which not only relieved the threat of Xirong, but also expanded the sphere of influence of Qin.
