The history of our country embodies what Mencius called an example of high morality and integrity.
Wen Tianxiang case. Brief introduction of Wen Tianxiang: Wen Tianxiang (1236- 1283) was born in Ji 'an, also known as Ji 'an. He studied at Bailuzhou Academy in Luling, Jiangxi (now Bailuzhou Middle School in Ji 'an). He was promoted to Jinshi at the age of 20. At the end of the Southern Song Dynasty, he wrote to the emperor as a scholar, opposing surrender, urging resistance, and offering strategies to defend the enemy. When the Yuan Army launched a massive attack, Wen Tianxiang sold all his possessions, organized a loyal rebel army in Ganzhou, and was appointed as the right prime minister in the face of the crisis. He is still actively organizing anti-Yuan. In the first year of Xiangxing (1278), he was defeated and captured in Haifeng, refused all kinds of temptations of the Yuan Dynasty, endured all kinds of tests, and would rather die than surrender. 1283 was killed by the ruler of the Yuan Dynasty. As an outstanding patriotic poet, Wen Tianxiang left us a lot of literary works, including more than 800 poems. After suffering from national subjugation, the patriotic content of Wen Tianxiang's poems was further sublimated, and his art made by going up one flight of stairs. "Who has never died in life since ancient times, keeping the heart of Dan in the history of history" in "Crossing the Zero Ding Yang" is a swan song throughout the ages. Song Zhengqi is his masterpiece. Now the Complete Works of Wen Tianxiang has been published, and there is Wen Tianxiang's tomb in Ji 'an County. 1252, Wen Tianxiang went to Luling County School with his father, and visited the Saint Hall in Gong Xue County. In the center of the hall is Confucius, with four portraits hanging on both sides. My father said: The first one is Ouyang Wenzhong, a great statesman and writer in the dynasty. He put forward the idea of reforming the disadvantages and innovating the style of writing. The second photo is Yang Zhongxiang. He was held hostage by the nomads from Jiankang, refused to surrender, and died with his head touching the column. The third picture is Hu Gong, a famous official. When Zhong Liang and Jin made peace, he directly remonstrated, saying that he was not related to * * *, and demanded that the traitor be killed to show the world. The fourth photo is the Duke of Zhou Wenzhong, whose name will be great. He was an important official in the three dynasties, and advocated rich Qiang Bing to recover lost territory. Later, my father said with a heavy voice: "Today's country is facing another disaster. You should see the sages and think strangely! " Before leaving Gong Xue, Wen Tianxiang made several obeisances to the portraits of the sages and said, "I will be like you in the future, otherwise I will not be a man or a gentleman!" Father praised his ambition again and again. Source: People's Education.
