In the history of China's poetry, Liu Bannong is called an ordinary poet.

Liu Bannong (1891May 29-1934 July 14), a native of Jiangyin, Jiangsu Province, was originally named Shou Peng, later named Fu, first named semi-farmer, later changed to semi-farmer, and later named Qu 'an, a pioneer of China New Culture Movement, a writer, a linguist and so on.

The main works are poetry anthology Whip Collection, Pot Collection and Semi-peasant Essays.
