On a sunny Sunday, I went to the mall to buy things with my mother in a happy mood.
To go to the mall, I had to take the No. 107 bus. We waited on the platform for a long time, and the bus finally came! I paid the money and quickly ran on the bus. There were so many people on the bus today! There were only 3 seats left, so my mother, me, and a little sister took the empty seats.
While riding in the car, I thought: "Our city is so beautiful!" Just as I was looking at the beautiful scenery outside the window, the car arrived at the stop again. This time no one got on the bus, but a gray-haired old lady got on the bus. The old woman had white hair and looked to be in her 60s. She was carrying a bag of vegetables in one hand and a cane in the other as she staggered into the car. But there are no empty seats on the bus. I was hesitant, should I give up my seat or not? If I give up my seat, I will have to stand all the time, but if I don’t give up my seat, the old lady will have to stand all the time. Just as I was thinking, a pleasant voice interrupted my train of thought. A little sister stood up from her seat and said, "Grandma, please sit down!" The old lady said gratefully, "Thank you, kid. "You're welcome, this is what I should do." A smile appeared on the little sister's face, and a grateful smile also appeared on the old grandma's kind face. The passengers all looked at me like little sisters with approval. My face started to feel hot. My little sister and I were both Young Pioneers. The little sister was younger than me, but she took the initiative to give up her seat to the old lady. As a senior student, I felt really ashamed.
However, I understand a truth: people should care and love each other. In this way, we will feel sweet and warm in each other's hearts!
