A graduation thesis about learning
Learn with interest and improve with learning
Abstract: Interest is the intrinsic motivation for learning. Successful introduction in the classroom, careful questioning, vivid language, appropriate use of poetry, lyrics, music and illustrations, harmonious atmosphere, happy independent learning methods, etc. are all ways to cultivate students' interest in learning. If it can improve students' interest in learning, it can inspire students' thinking and mobilize their enthusiasm for learning, thereby achieving the purpose of cultivating students' abilities.
Keywords: Classroom teaching, interest, teaching effect
? Those who know well are not as good as those who are good at it, and those who are good at it are not as good as those who enjoy it?. To allow students to maintain their role as happy learners, teachers’ teaching methods must be novel, flexible, and interesting. Interest is the introduction to knowledge. Therefore, how to enhance the interest of classroom teaching, stimulate students' interest in learning, change students' learning from passive to active, and thereby improve the quality of teaching has become an important topic that many teachers are pursuing and exploring. Based on my usual teaching practice, I will talk about some points on how to stimulate students' interest in classroom teaching and enhance the effect of classroom teaching.
1. Pay attention to the introduction
?A good start is half the success?. Therefore, in each class, teachers must pay attention to the art of introduction, set up situations, and try their best to attract students from the beginning. To achieve this effect, teachers must carefully design the introduction of each class based on the teaching material content and students' actual situation to stimulate students' interest in learning and make students actively participate in learning. For example, I asked students in class: What was the original motivation for primitive people to domesticate small animals? Most students answered that it was to obtain food, eat animal meat, and skin animals. Then I induced a student who usually likes to raise puppies, kittens and various insects, and asked him to think about his life experience of raising small animals since he was a child. As a result, he came up with a new view: how cute and fun small animals are. The early people may have kept small animals for fun, to keep their children company, and to add fun to their lives. Various animals were domesticated in large numbers and took a long time to become domestic animals, and only then did animal husbandry develop. Only after the development of animal husbandry can economic value be discussed. Raising animals and pursuing economic value came later and were not the earliest motivations of primitive people. In this way, a unique new idea is opened up and a creative artistic conception is opened up. Such a beginning arouses students' interest, achieves the purpose of answering doubts, and arouses students' initiative in learning.
2. Introducing fun into the classroom
Junior high school students are younger. In order to stimulate their interest, I designed some performances to let them actively participate. Some students with a strong desire to perform I like this link very much, so that they can preview the text before class, collect relevant information, and make some careful preparations. For example, when studying "The Confrontation between the North and the South in the Song and Jin Dynasties", I asked the students to design lines and play the roles of Yue Fei and Qin Hui respectively. Their self-set scenes and exaggerated performances made the class end happily. Through dialogue, they could see who was the righteous side in the Song-Jin war and understand the significance of Yue Fei's resistance to the Jin Dynasty. Although the time was not long, the students experienced the fun of learning history and achieved the effect of entertaining and educating.
3. Vivid language
Psychology believes that interest is the prerequisite for seeking knowledge. The characteristics of middle school students' interests are that they are easy to arouse, but difficult to maintain stability. Using vivid and vivid language and appropriately interspersing some historical stories in lectures is an effective way to stimulate students' interest. Comenius said in "The Great Doctrine": A teacher who can teach pleasantly and clearly will have his voice immersed in the hearts of students like oil, bringing knowledge along with him. ?Some people describe the beautiful and vivid teaching language as artistic enjoyment. The vivid image of language is a "basic requirement" for teachers. The following is a teaching example: When talking about the famous Battle of the Yellow Sea in the Sino-Japanese War of 1894-1899, I first gave a corresponding verbal description of the naval battle process based on the textbook. Then, the portrait of Deng Shichang and the image of Deng Shichang and the Zhiyuan ship heading straight towards the enemy ships were displayed, and the following description was given: On the sea surface, gunpowder smoke billowed and artillery shells flew across the sea. The soldiers of the Qing army fought bravely to resist foreign aggression. The sky was darkened, the sun and the moon were dim, and the sea trembled.
During the battle, the Zhiyuan ship was hit multiple times, its hull tilted severely, and its ammunition was exhausted. In order to combat the arrogance of the Japanese army, the commander Deng Shichang resolutely ordered to use full power to rush directly to the enemy ship Yoshino in order to perish together. Students, please see, the high bow of the ship is more like a sharp sword piercing the chest of the invader! This is a concrete manifestation of the fearless spirit of the Chinese nation in resisting foreign aggression, and a symbol of the Chinese nation's indomitable and heroic resistance to the war. Symbol! Although Deng Shichang, Lin Yongsheng and others died heroically, their heroic images of resisting foreign aggression will always inspire the Chinese people to fight!? The vivid description and sonorous language immediately aroused the students' screams.
4. Use poetry and music
The ancients said: The heart is the ambition, the mouth is the words, the beautiful words are the essays, and the beautiful words are the poems. ?It is also one of the contents of history teaching to let students understand the poetry, lyrics and music in national culture. Appropriate use of poetry, lyrics and music can mobilize and stimulate students' interest and enthusiasm for learning. Neat and musical rhythm, beautiful sentences, and artistic conception that blends scenes can touch students' hearts and immerse them in a beautiful atmosphere. Students' interest and enthusiasm for learning will be inspired and they will actively participate in history teaching activities. For example, when talking about pre-Qin literature, quoting the short and easy-to-understand "Shuo Mouse" can greatly increase students' interest. When studying "Brilliant Literature and Art", let students collect and recite Tang poems and have a reading competition, which can allow students to appreciate the elegance and beauty of Tang poems, thereby increasing their interest in learning.
5. Be good at illustrations
Illustrations are intuitive and vivid. Making good use of relevant illustrations in the text plays an important role in arousing learning interest, increasing students' curiosity for knowledge, enhancing students' memory, and improving the quality of teaching. Such as "Shang Yang's Tongue War Picture" in "Seven Heroes of the Warring States Period". ?Shang Yang's Reform? is the focus of this lesson. Teaching "Shang Yang's War of Tongues" well can not only make students understand Shang Yang's courage and talent as a reformer, but also let students understand that reform is not easy and that reform is an inevitable trend of historical development at that time, thereby improving students' understanding of Shang Yang's reforms. understanding of the role of history. During the lecture, I asked the students to look at the "Picture of Shang Yang's Confrontation" and explained to the students: "The picture shows the scene of Shang Yang's confrontation with the ministers at that time." Sitting on the ground in the middle is Qin Xiaogong. Shang Yang, a famous reformer in history, was debating with ministers who opposed the reform. Look at him holding a bamboo slip in his hand, quoting scriptures and speaking eloquently. He said: As long as it is beneficial to the country and convenient for the people, there is no need to follow the ancient practices. He loudly shouted the reform slogan: "If there is no one way to govern the world, the country will be illegal." Sitting opposite him were two conservative ministers, Qianlong and Du Zhi, who were speechless and restless after being refuted by Shang Yang. In this historic debate, Qin Xiaogong made the final decision. He said: Shang Yang is right, just do what Shang Yang said. ?In the process of telling this story, the students were all attracted, achieving the effect of arousing students' interest.
6. Happy Learning
German educationist Di Stohuizen once said: A bad teacher teaches people the truth, and a good teacher teaches people to discover the truth. ?Learning relies on discovery, requiring students to use materials provided by teachers or textbooks to actively learn, emphasizing students' self-thinking, exploration and discovery of things. If a teacher is only satisfied with imparting knowledge in the classroom, he is definitely not a good teacher. Only by allowing them to learn independently and happily can they mobilize their enthusiasm and achieve the expected teaching results.
In short, there are many methods and ways to cultivate students' interest in learning, such as telling stories skillfully, writing jingles, making game setting charts, using multimedia, etc. As long as it is carefully arranged, students' interest will be fully stimulated in teaching, thereby making the classroom more exciting and achieving good teaching results.
