Fireworks in March and Spring in March

Author: Gu Ao Kuangsheng

It’s March again in the world. There are many aliases for March, but the two I admire the most are: Fireworks March and Yangchun March.

My love for fireworks in March naturally comes from Li Bai’s famous Qijue poem "Send Meng Haoran to Guangling from the Yellow Crane Tower". The poem goes: "My old friend bids farewell to the Yellow Crane Tower in the west, and the fireworks are under the Yangzhou in March. The shadow of the solitary sail is gone in the blue sky, and only the Yangtze River can be seen flowing in the sky." The immortal of poetry is the immortal of poetry. A farewell poem is written so meaningful and elegant, decorated with fireworks. In March, coupled with Yangzhou, which countless poets have been fascinated by, it is really a perfect poem and endless aftertaste.

There is a song called "Fireworks in March", which is adapted from this poem. Both Gong Yue and Tong Li sang it. The lyrics are also from Taibai's Samadhi: "Fireworks in March are constantly breaking. Liu / In the dream of Jiangnan, there is endless wine / When the solitary sail is far away and the blue sky is gone / I realize that my longing is always thinner than that of the West Lake. ”

Why did Fireworks March get its name? Someone. It is said that Yangzhou Qionghua and other flowers are in full bloom, but the weather is humid and foggy, so there is a saying of fireworks in March. However, this is not quite accurate. Li Bai sent Meng Haoran to the Yellow Crane Tower in Wuchang, so there seems to be no need to exaggerate Yangzhou. Judging from the poem, Li Bai is naturally writing about the spring in Wuchang. At this time, Wuchang is the plum rain season, which is rainy and foggy. It is foggy and rainy all day long, and the sun often does not see the sky for more than ten days. In the Tang Dynasty, many poets compared rain and fog to smoke. For example, Liu Yuxi's "When the Wu Gorge is green and misty, the ape crows on the highest branch", and Du Mu's "There are four hundred and eighty temples in the Southern Dynasties, and there are many towers in the mist." As for the flowers of fireworks, it is natural that spring is in full bloom and the flowers are in full bloom.

Compared with the beauty of fireworks in March, March in spring is much "sunny". Yangchunzhiyang refers not only to the sun, but also to the yin and yang of yin and yang. Yangchun March actually refers to March in the lunar calendar, which is roughly April in the Gregorian calendar. This is the time after the Spring Equinox, when the Yang Qi rises, the days become longer and longer, and the sun shines more and more directly into the Northern Hemisphere. Compared with the other two months of spring, the first month of the lunar calendar and February, March can truly be named Yang.

I like the word "March in Spring" because of an idiom about "Bright Spring and White Snow". During the Warring States Period, there was a singer who sang in Yingdu, Chu State. At first he sang the very popular "Xia Li" and "Ba Ren", and thousands of people sang along. Later he sang the very elegant "Yangchun" and "White Snow". , there were only dozens of people singing along.

"White Snow in Yangchun" is also a guqin piece. It was revised by Lu Cai in the Tang Dynasty based on the old guqin music. The Ming Dynasty's "Fengxuan Xuanpin" listed the subsection titles for this song as: "The Qi turns to Hongjun", "The Yang returns to the earth", "Three Yangs prosper", "Wanhui prospers", "The country is beautiful", " "The sky and the earth are in harmony", "The orioles sing and the swallows dance", "The sun is warm and the wind is gentle", "Flowers and willows compete for beauty", "The spring of Jincheng is beautiful", "The scenery of the emperor", "The spring breeze dances", "The green emperor drives", "Green The battle is red and the grass is lingering. What beautiful words, what beautiful music!

Wandering in this charming March, with a strong east wind and misty rain, let us indulge in this poetic infinite spring.
