Donation activity
Today is the third day of winter vacation. Four good friends, Chen Danlu, Yao Kamian and Li Qinnan, I plan to organize a meaningful team activity—— Raising donations for children in disaster-stricken areas in Sichuan.
Early in the morning, we gathered at the entrance of Runhe Shopping Center. I prepared 60 flyers, and Yao Kamian prepared a homemade donation box. They started to move, but the four of them looked at each other and didn't know how to speak. Chen Danlu was worthy of being the captain. He took the lead and set a good example, and mustered up the courage to hand a flyer to an aunt. After reading the flyer, the aunt was very moved and generously donated five yuan, which greatly increased our confidence. Thinking of the hungry and cold children in the disaster area, we handed flyers to passers-by, hoping that they would show some love. Soon there were a lot of crumpled tickets in our homemade donation box.
Our team walked from Jiefang Road to East Street. We learned some experiences along the way, such as: we know that we should look for kind people, not those who seem to be strict, and we should look for walking people. Instead of looking for someone who is in a hurry, you should look for someone who is in a hurry. We also met Teacher Lu, who praised us and donated all the change in her wallet to us.
The morning passed quickly. We counted the money in the donation box - 89.4 yuan per pound. We immediately came to the nearby Red Cross and entrusted the staff of the Red Cross to Pass our donations to the children in the disaster areas.
I had a great time on this day because we contributed to disaster relief in Sichuan.
