Zhan Chu's word is Yuan, and another word is Zi Yuan. Born in Xiuning, the annual birth and death is unknown. He lived around Song Lizong Shaoding, the minister and philosopher of the Southern Song Dynasty and the nephew of Zhan Tiren. He worshipped Zhu Weixue, became a county commandant at first, and later recommended him as a prefect. He is very kind to his classmate Wang Shen. He has been an official for seven years. He distinguishes between gentlemen, villains, evil and justice.
