Fourteen lines
The light rain falls on your disheveled temples,
Like small beads falling among the green kelp grass,
Or the dead fish and ladle flipping over the waves,
gleaming with a mysterious and sad light;
seducing and carrying my cyan soul,
To sleep in the kingdom of dreams of love and death,
where the golden air and the purple sun are,
where the poor creatures shed tears of joy to their breasts ;
Like a thin black old cat,
I haggard and stretched myself in the dim light,
I shed my former hypocrisy and Sincere pride;
Then, following it, it staggers in the mist;
Like light red wine foam floating in the amber bell,
I will be sentimental The tears are hidden in the dark memory.
Appreciation: Such a delicate and beautiful poem, I really want to classify it as a love poem. Here, the poet does have an object to describe. Regarding her impression, the poet is very stingy with words and ink. He only uses a small profile of "your disheveled temples" and touches it in one stroke. It can't be simpler. However, this stroke gave me a hazy feminine beauty. Because she is shadowy, it arouses our speculation and imagination. Imagine a figure with a lightly painted back. The poet likes and is seduced by this impression, which has a dreamlike quality. However, in the end, the poet hid his affectionate eyes in the dark memory. Perhaps, this is just a fragment of the past that has been blurred to this day.
About the author: Dai Wangshu (1905.3.5-1950.2.28) was born in Hang County, Zhejiang Province (now Yuhang District, Hangzhou City). His original name was Dai Mengou, also known as Dai Mengou, and his pen names include Ai Angfu and Jiang Si. His pen name comes from Qu Yuan's "Li Sao": "Wangshu in the front makes the pioneer come, and Fei Lian makes the subordinate rush in the back." It means that Qu Yuan went to heaven and earth to roam and seek, sitting in a chariot drawn by a dragon, with the moon god Wangshu in front. Open the way, followed by Feilian, the god of wind. Wangshu is the god who drives the moon in myths and legends. He is beautiful, gentle, pure and elegant. Dai Wangshu is a Chinese modern symbolist poet. In 1928, he published "Rain Lane" and founded "Literary Workshop" with Shi Zhecun, Du Heng, and Feng Xuefeng. In April 1929, the first collection of poems "My Memory" was published. This collection of poems is also a representative work of Dai Wangshu's early symbolism poetry.
