The rivers and mountains are beautiful in Chiri, and the spring breeze is fragrant with flowers and grass.

The mud melts and the swallows fly,

The sand is warm and the mandarin ducks sleep.

The spring breeze brings the fragrance of flowers and plants.

The flying swallows are busy building nests with wet mud in their mouths,

The beautiful mandarin ducks sleep on the sand and bask in the sun.

Chiri: refers to spring.

Mud melt: Spring is coming, frozen mud melts, making it wet and soft.

Mandarin duck: a beautiful water bird. The male and female birds often appear together.
