Extracurricular English Poetry in Grade Five
I still clearly remember when the story happened. Autumn leaves fell to the ground and restored the lake. We used to swim there like children, and it was Charles in the sun. We used to be very happy at that time. I thought we were. But the truth is that you have been eager to leave me and dare not tell me. On that precious night, watching the lake, in a trance. You said, "Our story is coming to an end." The rain killed the last days of summer, and you killed my last love, starting from a long time ago. I still don't think I will experience another love story. You took everything from me. I stood there, knowing that I would be the forgotten one. But I still looked at the lake, confused, and I knew that my life was coming to an end.
