Li Qiao (645~714), born in Zanhuang County, Hebei Province, was born in Jushan. Prime minister in Tang dynasty.

Li Qiao was born in Li's ancestral home in Zhao County, and he was a scholar in his early years. He has successively held the posts of Anding Xiaowei, Chang 'an Weiwei, Supervising the Imperial History, Giving the Affairs, Runzhou Sima, Fengge Sheren, Lintai Shaojian and so on. Wu Zhou period, attached to Zhang Yizhi brothers. During the reign of Emperor Zhongzong, he was attached to Queen Wei and Wu Sansi, the king of Liang, and was appointed as Zhao Guogong by the official position of the Secretary of the Central Committee. In Tang Ruizong, he was demoted to the secretariat of Huaizhou to become an official in his old age. When Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty, he was demoted to Chuzhou and moved to Luzhou. In the second year of Kaiyuan (714), he died in Luzhou at the age of 7.

Li Qiao was a literary leader in the period of Wu Hou and Zhongzong. He was also called Su Li with Su Weidao, and also called Cui Li Su Du with Du Shenyan, Cui Rong and Su Weidao. In his later years, he was even honored as an old writer and was highly respected by people of his time. His articles are good at using allusions in official affairs, paying attention to parallel couplets, and adopting colorful words, which is a great deal. Zhang, a famous figure in Kaiyuan, praised his literature as "as good as Jin Meiyu", while Old Tang Book called his literature "the hero of a generation".

Li Qiao once wrote 12 miscellaneous poems, which are divided into twelve categories: dry elephants, kunyi, dwelling places, cultural relics, weapons, music, silks, clothing and play, fragrant grass, precious trees, spiritual birds and auspicious beasts, each of which is called "Poems with a single topic", and each poem chants one thing, such as "Day" and "Moon". This group of Miscellaneous Poems was annotated by Zhang Tingfang in Tianbao for six years (747), and later spread to Japan, where it became an important preschool reading material for nobles and gentry in heian period.
