Spotting, dyeing, and rubbing are all techniques of traditional Chinese painting.
"Stippling" in traditional Chinese painting: dotting refers to the use of a pen to draw; dyeing refers to the technique of rubbing.
Poetry borrows dianran: dian refers to directly pointing out the connotation or essence of emotion; dian refers to the copying and description around the literary style.
Take the typical "point dyeing technique" in Ma Zhiyuan's "Tianjingsha·Autumn Thoughts" as an example.
Withered vines, old trees and dim crows, small bridges and flowing water, people's houses, the west wind and thin horses on the ancient road, the setting sun, the heartbroken people at the end of the world.
The first four sentences are the most exquisite collection of images. They are an extremely concise and impressive group image with a large amount of information. They have always been praised by people.
It also depicts and highlights the atmosphere of "the heartbroken man is at the end of the world".
When it has been exaggerated and foreshadowed in every possible way to arouse our emotions to the extreme, the last sentence "The heartbroken man is at the end of the world" is used to poke our tears, which makes people burst into tears. At the same time, this is also where the emotional knot of the whole text is revealed.
The combination is so beautiful.
Let’s take Liu Yong’s “Yulin Ling” as an example.
1. The thought goes away, thousands of miles of smoke, the dusk is heavy and the sky is vast.
"Nian Qu Qu" points out the poet's imagination of the sadness and sadness of parting in the future, which is where the literary talent lies. It's okay to express your feelings directly, but "a good poem is half a painting" and requires a sense of picture and scene, so use "Thousands of Miles of Smoke", "Dark Mist", and "The Sky is Vast" to mobilize the most emotional side of the soul.
2. Where did you wake up tonight? Willow bank, dawn wind and waning moon.
"Where did you wake up tonight?" The question evokes emotions. The poet seems not to know what night it is, and time and space have suddenly changed for him.
Of course, if you can really drink a cup of love-forgetting water, you will feel comfortable, peaceful and happy. However, humans are the most forgetful animals, so there is only sadness, pathos, and bone-deep pain!
The image realm reflected by this feeling is "willow bank" and "morning wind and waning moon".
The traditional willows are used to say farewell, the morning breeze is cold and rustling, and the waning moon is quiet and lonely to form an image combination. The scenes blend together and perfectly set off the unbearable sadness of separation.
