On how to cultivate children's language ability
Liu Language in Wenchang New Age Kindergarten is a tool for human thinking and communication, and childhood is a critical period for language learning. The development of language ability in this period is of decisive significance to the development of children's future ability, knowledge acquisition, sound personality and even the development of the whole psychological structure. Therefore, helping children improve their language ability is one of the important responsibilities and obligations of our kindergarten teachers. Based on my own work experience, I will discuss the following points. First, develop children's language ability in daily activities. Using the daily communication environment to guide children to learn language, the "Guidelines for Kindergarten Education" puts forward that kindergarten language should educate children to be proactive, enthusiastic, willing to talk to people and speak politely. Accordingly, my language education will start from conversation and daily life. (1) Understand children's language ability by guiding them to introduce themselves. In the activity, I asked the children to introduce themselves. Xing Bin, for example, said: My family lives in Paul Luo Feng Middle School, and my parents are teachers. Sue said: My mother is also a teacher and my father is a worker. My family grows a lot of carambola. In summer, the trees are covered with golden carambola. It's delicious! Wait a minute. There are individual differences in language expression, so teachers should actively encourage some children with strong oral expression skills in the class to take more with less and take more with force. (2) Language practice with children's favorite games, such as "correcting mistakes" in language game activities in the middle class. The teacher made a clever mistake in language use from the beginning: I saw Xiaohong finish the bread and milk this morning. What a good boy! When the wrong words attract the child's attention or laugh, the teacher immediately asks: Why are you laughing? What did I say wrong? How should I change it? Stimulate children's interest in correcting mistakes. (3) In extracurricular activities, teachers should infiltrate the teaching of polite expressions, guide children to be polite and good children, and let everyone like them. For example: accidentally broke someone else's things, to say; I'm sorry! When you get help from others, you should say: thank you! When he entered the park, he said, hello, teacher! Say goodbye when you leave the garden! Goodbye anyway! Wait a minute. All these will make children really experience the fun of language communication. Second, improve children's language ability in educational activities. To develop children's oral expression ability, we should consider enriching children's vocabulary and encouraging children to speak complete sentences. 1, enrich children's vocabulary. The richness of vocabulary directly affects children's oral expression ability. However, the accumulation of children's vocabulary can not be solved in a day or two, but in the long-term language learning of children, the process of learning and using is rich and accumulated, and there is no shortcut at all. It is entirely up to teachers to grow up with children in language teaching, and to accumulate and consolidate bit by bit. Therefore, I usually attach great importance to the accumulation of children's vocabulary, not only enriching children's vocabulary in the teaching of various subjects, but also classifying the vocabulary that children need to master: nouns, adjectives, verbs, quantifiers and so on. Infiltrate gradually in the teaching process. For example, there are several verbs in the children's song "Crossing the Bridge": The rabbit jumps over the bridge. The duckling crossed the bridge and swayed. The little crab crosses the bridge and walks sideways. Kangaroo crosses the bridge and mother hugs it. In the process of reading nursery rhymes, teachers should help children understand the content of nursery rhymes. After the children understand the content of nursery rhymes, I let the four children do the actions of jumping, shaking, walking and hugging respectively, so that the children can understand the meaning of these verbs initially, and then digest jumping, shaking, walking and hugging through games. For example, in the nursery rhyme of Counting Toads, learn: one toad, one mouth, two eyes, four legs and so on. Here are some quantifiers. After the children understand the meaning of the words, I use the method of giving inferences to guide the children to use their brains and try to tell them with these quantifiers: one, two, four and so on. In this way, children's vocabulary is increasing, and their oral expression ability is also improved accordingly. 2. Encourage children to speak completely. Children should not only master a lot of vocabulary, but also learn to express their thoughts in complete sentences, from saying a complete sentence to saying a paragraph, and gradually improve their oral expression ability. How to guide children to speak complete words? This is related to the teacher's own language teaching habits. If the teacher doesn't pay attention to the requirements for children to speak complete sentences in class, children often express their wishes in short sentences when answering questions. Once the habit is formed, it is not conducive to improving children's oral expression ability. Therefore, I attach great importance to the requirement of children to finish sentences, and insist on encouraging children to finish sentences from small classes. I always patiently guide children when they answer questions and express their wishes. Would you please tell them in complete sentences? For children with poor oral expression skills, their speech is always intermittent, and sometimes they can't express clearly at all, so I patiently guide them to speak complete words with some games, for example, in the role game "Love Hospital" and "Department Store", I use specific questions to guide children's thinking. What do you want to buy? I want to buy it. What's the matter with you? I have a headache. Wait. In this way, on the basis of complete speaking, children will continue to exercise and their oral expression ability will be improved accordingly. I often use some to retell stories and imitate poems, such as Cat Fishing, Three Butterflies, Green World, Little Red Flower Looking for Friends, Comb and so on. In these interesting stories, first let the children understand the key words and sentences in the story, and then express their wishes. For example, I discussed the story of "Cats Fishing" with children and told them that cats are half-hearted, catching butterflies and dragonflies for a while and not catching fish for a while. Then I asked the children to talk about whether they had something similar, and some children could talk about it in connection with their own reality. In class, I was half-hearted, touching this and looking at that, but nothing came out for a while. This practice is very helpful for children to improve their oral expression ability. In addition, poetry is also used to make children speak more fluently. For example, by imitating the poems "Green World" and "Comb", children became interested in poetry by appreciating beautiful poems. I seized the opportunity for children to learn and guided them to learn to create their own green children according to the format of poetry. For example, some children weave: trees, green brooms, and sweeping the sky blue. Trees, green dusters, dust the white on the clouds. Trees, green rags, shining with stars. In a word, the development of children's language is closely related to their emotions, experiential thinking and social communication ability. Therefore, the important way to develop children's language is to expand children's experience in colorful activities and provide conditions for promoting language development through education in various fields. Children's language development cannot be achieved overnight. As a teacher, we should have enough patience to observe and guide children, seize all educational opportunities and flexibly use various educational means so that every child can develop happily.
