Waiting for you in the rain is the representative work of Yu Guangzhong's love poems. The poem is called Waiting for You, but the whole poem does not mention the anxiety and helplessness of waiting for you, but describes the illusion and beauty of waiting for you in an ingenious way. The language of the poem is fresh and lively, with bright colors and beautiful pictures, leaving people with infinite reverie.

This poem is divided into eight natural paragraphs. Except for the eighth paragraph, each paragraph has three lines of different lengths, and the middle line is indented by one character. This strange metaphor about red-violet reminds me of the "wild fire burning flowers" that Zhang Ailing saw in Bai Liusu and Fan Liuyuan's Love in a Fallen City: "In the dark, she can't see red, but she intuitively knows that it is as red as ever, and it is out of control. A fluffy flower was nested in a towering tree, chestnuts were peeled off and burned all the way, burning a purple-blue sky. Two different plants burn in lovers' eyes. I think this is the drag and jump in their hearts, and it is a symbol of the blazing fire of love. This metaphor gives the lotus a dynamic sense of space, expresses the poet's tenderness in the contrast between the warmth and coldness of the flame and the rain, and enables readers to appreciate poetry in a strange feeling. Cezanne's apple is cold, Van Gogh's sunflower is hot, and the lotus in the afterglow is cold and hot, holding a blazing red flame in the cold water.

Waiting is anxious and long in many literati's works. Since there is a pool of red lotus, since it is the same graceful, elegant and gentle, in the eyes of young people, "you" is the lotus, and the lotus is "you", how can this wait be long? Hope for "you" and love for lotus are one. People in China like to see flowers through the fog, and the young people described by the author are more attractive. He stared at dusk and drizzle. In this story, the poet sensitively and accurately captures the subtle psychological activities of lovers and writes the illusion of waiting for young people.

The third natural paragraph of the poem is still about the dreamland of youth, but it goes a step further. Eternity, instant, instant, eternity. Perhaps the poet wants to say that in the long river of eternal life, waiting for "you" is only a moment. But at the same time, the moment when we are together is eternity. The poet skillfully uses abstract description techniques to explain the intricacies of time and outline a hazy situation, an eternal feeling and a profound and graceful poetic beauty. Three "moments", three "eternity", relative concepts and philosophical unity make people feel that every word is a heart trace and every word is an oath, but it will never be vulgar. In this passage, there is the most difficult sentence in the whole poem: "Waiting for you, outside of time, within time". Outside of time, it is because there is a lotus like you. "I" feel as if I am standing next to time, watching the time pass coldly, and I am not in a hurry. In the time with lotus, an instant is eternity, and eternity is an instant. The usual concept of time has lost the meaning of measurement here; Over time, sometimes it is "I" who returns to reality from fantasy. As of this writing, the dream of modern people has fled to ancient Li Dian. The foolish young man thought of the fragrance of the Iraqis, "shake the laurel paddle on the Mulan boat"; I thought of the little hand of the Iraqi people, and that hand was "the hand that should pick lotus." In Han Yuefu, there is "picking lotus in Nantang in autumn, and the lotus is over the head." Bow your head and get lotus seeds, as clear as water. " Here, the poet integrates modern poetry into the classical artistic conception, and the poetry is slender and dense like plum rain, with the charm of the late Tang Dynasty and the Southern Song Dynasty. This is the poet's initiative to absorb the nourishment of classical words, thus adding sound color to his works, but he did not devote himself to the situation of the ancients and enslave them. Although there are ancient traditional images hidden in these elegant languages-Mulan boat, rowing boat and martial arts palace, the poet expresses modern freedom and elegance with implicit simplicity. In the sixth paragraph, young people return to reality from fantasy. "There is a star hanging on the cornice of the Science Museum". In this sentence, the poet uses a very modern vocabulary, which is in sharp contrast with the previous poem that describes lovers with allusions. "Hanging like an eardrop", the poet compares a star hanging under the cornice of the Science Museum to a girl's eardrop, which is both romantic and in line with the mentality of young people in love.

"The Swiss watch says it's seven o'clock." The poet used a period here to show that the young man had given up hope. At this time, the girl who was waiting hard suddenly "came from Honglian". Like the stunt scenes in the movie, the beauty waiting for young people in a trance seems to come out of a pool of red lotus, charming, beautiful and elegant. But we still can't get a glimpse of her true face-"Dan Qing didn't finish writing, but she broke her waist", and the poet only said "Rushi/You are from a love story". We know that Xiao Ling's style is elegant and subtle. The women in Xiao Ling are as charming as "looking at the flowers before and after the mirror, and their faces set each other off", as "the curtain is rolled in the west wind, and people are thinner than yellow flowers", as melancholy as "the flowers are helpless and seem to have met and returned to their faces". I look at you as if I saw a red lotus. The classic chapters in love allusions echoed in my heart like intermittent echoes, and the fresh rhythm in Jiang Baishi's poems slowly flowed into my heart like tinkling springs. The whole poem comes to an abrupt end, but the aftertaste still exists, which makes readers have infinite reverie and even endless aftertaste.
