19 1 1 year, Li Shutong, a music educator, returned from studying in Japan. Two years later, together with his staff, he published a three-part chorus "Spring Tour", which is considered to be the first choral work written by western composition techniques in modern China.
The melody of the song is catchy, and the lyrics, in the form of China's ancient poems, depict the most beautiful artistic conception in spring with a few strokes: "Spring breeze is thinner than gauze, and spring costumes are lighter than painting. Although the lyrics of Farewell are in the form of long and short sentences in China's ancient poems, the meaning is plain and easy to understand, without losing the elegant artistic conception of classical poems. Soon after the work was finished, Li Shutong left the world of mortals and converted to Buddhism.

The forms and structures of chorus works are richer and more diverse, and the artistic conception is more bold and novel.
