In 2009, the famous American painter Xie Tiancheng made another great achievement. First, in May of 20 14, US President Barack Obama collected Xie Tiancheng's Chinese painting "Walking in the Moonlight", which made Guilin's landscape shine; Secondly, from the end of August to the beginning of September, 2004, Xie Tiancheng held a solo exhibition in Guangzhou, in which the Chinese painting Watching the Sea and Listening to the Waves was privately collected at a high price of 900,000 yuan and became a favorite "potential stock" of collectors. Guilin's unique scenery attracts Chinese and foreign tourists and foreign politicians to linger. Former US Presidents George H.W. Bush and Bill Clinton visited the Lijiang River and praised the natural Lijiang River. Xie Tiancheng has a soft spot for Lijiang River and is famous for painting Guilin landscape. His works are generous and full of life, and are collected by leaders of France, America and Japan.
20 14 was interviewed by reporters in Xie Tiancheng, Lijiang Waterfall Hotel on September 22nd. Xie Tiancheng took out a photo album, in which he and former US President Bill Clinton took a photo in a landscape painting in Guilin. Xie Tiancheng told me affectionately that the beautiful landscape of Guilin made his painting name.
Mrs Coleman: Decorate the lecture hall with Xie Tiancheng's works.
Inspired by Zhang Daqian's works, Xie Tiancheng painted the beauty and magic of Guilin's landscape with splash ink and color. Later, Xie Tiancheng was appreciated by Liu Haisu, the master of art, and was accepted as a closed disciple. He once went to the United States to develop, integrate Chinese and Western arts and form a unique style.
During his stay in the United States, Xie Tiancheng met Mrs. Coleman, the president of the Academy of Fine Arts in New Orleans, USA. She was a careful, hospitable and caring celebrity. She is very interested in Chinese painting and likes Xie Tiancheng's atmospheric landscape painting very much. 1One morning in the spring of 987, Mrs. Coleman specially decorated the hall with more than 10 Guilin landscape Chinese paintings and splash-ink Dunhuang paintings in her mansion, and invited American President George H.W. Bush to give a speech here. After the speech, there was warm applause. Mrs Coleman gave Bush a special gift. Afterwards, when Xie Tiancheng was sorting out his works, he found that one was missing. At this moment, Mrs Coleman told him with a smile that she had given Bush Lee's map, and she named the hall where Bush gave a speech as Tiancheng Hall, which made Xie Tiancheng feel very fulfilled. Since then, he has been more fascinated by the creation and research of Guilin landscape paintings, and his expression techniques have become more interesting.
