There are no many ways to get to Pengshan. What does oh blue-birds, be listening!-Bring me what she says! mean?

source: Tang? Untitled time was long before I met her, but is longer since we parted by Li Shangyin.

original:

time was long before I met her, but is longer since we parted, and the east wind has arisen and a hundred flowers are gone. And the silk-worms of spring will weave until they die, and every night the candles will weep their wicks away.

mornings in her mirror she sees her hair-cloud changing, yet she dares the chill of moonlight with her evening song. There are no many ways to get to Pengshan, oh blue-birds, be listening!-Bring me what she says!.

Interpretation:

It's a rare opportunity to meet each other, and it's even more difficult to say goodbye. Besides, it's the late spring weather when the east wind is about to close, and the flowers are fading, which makes people even more sad. Spring silkworms don't spit out silk until they die, and wax oil like tears can drip dry when candles are burned to ashes.

When women dress up in the mirror in the morning, they are only worried that their rich sideburns will change color and their youthful looks will disappear. Men can't sleep at night, so they must feel Leng Yue's aggression. The other party's residence is not far from Penglai Mountain, but there is no way to pass, but it is beyond reach. I hope a messenger like a bluebird will visit my lover diligently for me.

Appreciation:

This poem expresses the love psychology in a feminine tone. In sadness and pain, it contains burning desire and perseverance, and the emotional realm is deep and rich.

in the first two sentences, write about the unfortunate experience of love and the mood of the lyric hero: because of some kind of power, it is difficult for a pair of lovers to meet, and the pain of separation makes her unbearable.

three or four sentences, and then write the feelings of "it is difficult to meet each other" and "it is also difficult to leave", which is more tortuous. The word "silk" in "and the silk-worms of spring will weave until they die" is homophonic with "thinking". The whole sentence means that you miss each other like a silkworm spinning silk until you die. "and every night the candles will weep their wicks away" is a metaphor for the endless pain of not being together, as if the wax tears didn't run out until the candle burned to ashes.

five or six sentences turn to writing extroverted thoughts. Write about yourself in the first sentence and imagine each other in the second sentence. The more concrete you imagine, the deeper you miss, and the more you will ignite the desire to meet. Since the meeting was hopeless, I had to ask the messenger to pay tribute to myself and visit him for myself. This is the content of the last two sentences.

Similar descriptions can be found in the first, third, fourth and fifth sentences in Li Shangyin's previous poetry creation. Influenced and inspired by predecessors' creation, the poet inherited and used for reference. However, he did not simply imitate his predecessors, but took a big step forward with high creativity, transforming the original simple means of expression into more twists and turns and vivid ones to reflect richer and deeper thoughts and feelings. In fact, he has taken off the old traces and become a new creation.
