The discovery of talent
Although human nature cannot be cultivated and created artificially, it can be discovered. There are four ways to explore people's natural qualities:
1. In daily life, parents stumble upon their children's talent fields.
2. In the process of teaching, teachers stumbled upon their students' talent fields.
3. Someone's talent field was discovered by accident.
In a special event, someone's talent field suddenly stood out.
Mozart played the piano at the age of three, composed concertos at the age of four and played the violin at the age of five. At the age of seven, he published two piano sonatas in Salzburg. One afternoon at about four o'clock, when four-year-old Mozart was sitting on the floor and scribbling on the staff with a quill pen, he was catching up with his father Leopold, who was the deputy conductor and composer of Salzburg Palace. When he saw his son, he asked, "Son, what are you doing?" "Dad, I'm composing!" "Are you ready?" "It's almost ready." When Leopold saw the seemingly random wand, his expression changed from serious to more and more surprised. Finally, with tears in his eyes, he said to himself, "God, this child can not only compose music, but also write so hard and truly!"
Leopold knew that it was impossible for music to become famous in Salzburg, a remote and isolated town. To this end, in order to further explore the musical talent, when Mozart was five years old, Leopold made an important decision: he resigned from all his musical posts in the Salzburg court and took his son Mozart to Vienna, the city of music, for further study.
Inspired by Haydn, a great musician, Mozart's musical talent instantly became open-minded and insightful: whether he was composing concertos, quartets, songs, serenades, sonatas, mass operas or symphonies, his talent made Mozart adept in composing music with various themes, techniques, arts, connotations and styles. At that time, Mozart also wrote three symphonies handed down from ancient times in eight weeks: Symphony in E flat major, Symphony in G minor and Symphony in Muse. Mozart's musical talent has made him shine in the world music for generations.
Van Gogh's talent for painting was discovered by himself. He didn't have a father like Mozart, didn't go to any art college for further study, and didn't get expert guidance. However, simplicity, exploration, determination, indifference, shrewdness and creativity have created his full feelings and flashing inspiration. His the world famous paintings, such as Sunflower, Iris and Dr. Boucher, can be described as ingenious and groundbreaking.
The law of talent, there are two distinct laws of human talent.
I. Eternity
Talent is not a person's interest, but a whim and fanaticism; When the passion disappears, you can always abandon it. Some people like singing for two months, then they fall in love with dancing. After half a month, they began to contribute. Three weeks later, they were crazy about swimming. This is interest.
Interests are arbitrary and capricious, which is an unreliable thing.
Talent is a great strength that makes people refreshed and a pillar of wisdom. Once a person discovers the field of his own talent, he will be ingenious from childhood, adolescence, youth, prime of life, middle age, old age to old age and even the next generation. We can see that from Plato's philosophy, Li Bai's poems and songs, Michelangelo's sculpture, Guan Hanqing's opera and Newton's science to the Wright brothers' "plane", from the music of seven generations of Bach family, the "radium" of Madame Curie and Elena, the literature of three generations of old Dumas, Dumas and Dumas, the bank of eight generations of Rothschild family, and the car of eight generations of Ford family.
Second, magic.
Talent endows genius with a magical power. When Tagore was seven years old, he could write pastoral poems in twenty minutes. If someone else, even a graduate of the university literature department, were given three days to rack his brains, he might not be able to write that beautiful word in the end. Generally speaking, in music, painting, dance, poetry, film and television, foreign languages and other fields, people's talents gradually appear at the age of five; In the fields of mathematics, physics, chemistry, computer and natural history, human talent can only stand out at the age of sixteen; In the fields of astronomy, philosophy, aesthetics, history, law, medicine, psychology, science and business management, human talent will not be perfect until the age of 30.
Every child has different talents in his own field. The only problem is how parents can explore their talents in their daily life. How do teachers explore students' talents in the teaching process? Parents and teachers should first have a sense of obligation, mission and responsibility, and then explore, observe and explore children's talent fields in multiple fields, at multiple levels and in all directions. Specifically, they can try literature, history and philosophy first; If you are not interested, try mathematics and physics; If you are not so passionate, you can try music, painting and dancing. If you lack impulse, you can try again in swimming, film and television and computer.
In this way, through constant trial, observation and exploration, a child's certain talent field can always be discovered over time. Once a child can draw inferences from one another in a certain field, teach a hundred things, achieve mastery through a comprehensive study and be ingenious, it means that he has discovered his own talent field. If a child's talent can be cultivated and valued by parents and teachers after being discovered, it won't be long before he becomes a genius.
