Speech on March 8 Women's Day

Leaders, judges, guests and colleagues:

Hello everyone!

It is a great honor to have such an opportunity to attend today's speech. I am an ordinary nurse in the operating room. The topic of my speech is: angel's love under shadowless lamp.

I remember when I first stepped into the operating room, my heart was full of good expectations for a new life. Under the shadowless lamp, I described my future career with my fiery enthusiasm and sincerity. However, the reality is not as perfect and sweet as the bodhi fruit in the Garden of Eden. Every day, I have to face the face distorted by the disease, and I hear sighs and sobs ... I can't tell the minutes, three hours, six hours, or even 10 hour when I am busy. Legs are sore, we have to stand up, we are hungry, our eyes are sleepy ... How many times have we been called by the emergency department late at night? In the intense and tiring work, I really realized the taste of the ordinary life of nurses in the operating room and the hardships and pressures. I have been distressed and confused; After I was troubled and confused, I also wavered and retreated. But one thing touched me deeply, which made me find myself from the confusion and strengthened my original intention when I retreated.

A few years ago, one night in the early winter, when I was asleep in a warm home, a hurried ringing of the phone woke me up from my dream. "There is an emergency operation, come and rescue!" I had to put aside comfort and warmth and rush to the hospital against the biting cold wind. The dark night, the deserted road and the whistling north wind made my heart indescribably heavy. Even when I saw the families of patients anxiously waiting for surgery, my expression was numb. But when I hurried onto the operating table, facing the face distorted by the disease and the eyes looking forward to life, I suddenly felt sympathy and pity. Under the shadowless lamp, we fight against death, and we race against time. When there was a glimmer of light in the east, the operation was successful and the patient was out of danger. When we pushed the patient out of the operating room, we told our family members that "the operation was finished and went well, so now we are going back to the ward". A simple and ordinary sentence made the anxious family shed tears. In a flash, an unprecedented experience suddenly came to my mind: my position is so important, it not only maintains health and happiness, it even maintains a person's life. At that moment, I deeply realized that shadowless lamp is not the most beautiful light in the world, and there is no dazzling beauty, but it is undeniable that it is the most important light of life in the world, which has ignited the hopes of countless patients and their families. It is like a beacon light in the journey of life, guiding the direction for ships facing stormy waves and bringing a glimmer of light to dying patients. I also understand a truth: in ordinary nursing posts, you can also display your talents and create achievements.

I am not a poet, so I can't eulogize my career with beautiful poems; I am not a scholar, and I can't think about my own value with profound thoughts; I'm not a singer, so I can't sing my post with a nice voice. However, I am a nurse-an operating room nurse. I want to thank my profession. It makes me know how to treat every life equally, kindly and sincerely, and it makes me understand that living is a kind of beauty! I want to thank my profession, let me know how to cherish life, understand that ordinary is happiness, and dedication makes me more beautiful.

Excellence, endless service. In the operating room, an ordinary nursing post, I want to show a new look with a new attitude, create new achievements, and let my youth shine brilliantly under the shadowless lamp.

Thank you!

A Great Woman —— Speech on March 8th Women's Day

Who can tell me how many great women there are on the earth with a drop of water in the Milky Way? Who can tell me that there are no female footprints and laughter on our 9.65 million square kilometers of land, on the snow-covered northwest plateau, on the endless green flat land, in the bustling city and on the stormy island? Who can tell me that the motherland is increasingly prosperous and all fronts are thriving, and there is no sweat and hard work shed by women here? You can remember Gorky's poem: "We should praise them-women, that is, mothers. The whole world is raised by their milk ... without mothers and poets, there would be no love. " I want to praise her-a woman, a great woman.

The best person in the world must be the one who makes the most of his life. A great man once said that a person's value lies not in what he gets, but in what he gives. This is not a high-profile process to tap one's own energy, but also a process to contribute to society. Open the annals of history, from Athena, the goddess of wisdom in ancient Greek mythology, to Huang Daopo in ancient China; From Mrs. Julie, who won the Nobel Prize twice, to Xu Gongqiao, the first female doctor in New China, from/kloc-elizabeth barret browning, a British poetess in the 9th century, to Li Qingzhao in the Southern Song Dynasty and Bing Xin today; From Clara Tsetkin, who is known as "the mother of the international women's movement and a warrior who cries out to the storm", to Yang Kaihui and Liu Hulan who shed blood for the birth of new China; From Gaffry mistral, the first famous Chilean poetess in Latin America who gained knowledge through self-study and won the Nobel Prize, to Zhang Haidi, a "contemporary Paul" who was ill but studied hard. There are countless women who struggle for women's liberation, and there is no end. Some of them are women revolutionaries who died heroically for the China revolution, some are leaders who promoted the women's movement in China, and some are China women who worked hard and silently in the rear. More importantly, they tried to help the Chinese nation get rid of the oppression of feudal residual theocracy, political power and clan rights and truly realize women's liberation. Facing them, I can't help eulogizing women, great women.

As we all know, March 8th International Women's Day is a festival to commemorate the struggle of working women all over the world for peace, democracy and women's liberation. 1909 On March 8th, women workers in Chicago, USA held a large-scale strike demonstration for freedom and equality, which was warmly responded by working women. 19 10 In August, at the Second International Socialist Women's Conference held in Copenhagen, the German revolutionary Tzetkin, who led the conference, suggested to the conference that March 8 every year be the World Women's Struggle Day, which won unanimous support. 1924, China women held the first mass "March 8th" commemorative meeting in Guangzhou. After the founding of People's Republic of China (PRC), the State Council, the Central People's Government, designated March 8 as Women's Day in February1949 65438+.

Another March 8th Festival reminds me of Qiu Jin, a famous modern democratic revolutionary in China. 1In July, 907, Xu Xilin, a member of the Guangfu Association, launched the Anqing Uprising. Qiu Jin responded to the Xu Xilin Uprising in Zhejiang. Unfortunately, the uprising failed and Qiu Jin was arrested. Just before Xuantingkou was killed in Shaoxing, she looked up at the sky with dignity and said, "Autumn wind and autumn rain are terrible!" " After a heroic sacrifice. This is a great feeling of worrying about the country and the people. She put her life and death aside and worried about the future of the country and the future before she died. It is because of Qiu Jin, a patriotic heroine, that many women in China have a new understanding of the significance of the revolution and inspired many China revolutionaries to resolutely embark on the road of democratic revolution in China. Unfortunately, since ancient times, although women in China have made indelible contributions to society, due to the shackles imposed on women by feudal society, women's contributions are often either obliterated or replaced by men. Have you noticed that the corruption and incompetence of Chinese emperors led to the demise of the imperial dynasty, and the final result was attributed to the evil of women, the so-called femme fatale. Even the four beauties in China, who have the reputation of sinking fish and falling geese, can't get rid of the tragic fate of becoming political victims. How do women in China strive for women's liberation and make a true evaluation of their contribution to society, which is generally recognized by the society still dominated by men?

Regrettably, China Women's Day, which we saw today, is only a festival in the eyes of a large part of women in China. It's just that a unit has awarded prizes or bonuses and become a holiday for women to have a day off (forgetting the spirit, connotation and responsibility of women for their equal status).

Women in China hope to gain universal recognition and understanding from the society. First of all, women should affirm themselves, understand the true meaning of "half the sky" and make constant contributions to society. As long as the social mechanism is sound, women's contribution will be rewarded. Decision-making mistakes are always caused by cognitive mistakes, so the key is to know yourself. The road to success in any career begins with knowing yourself. President Mao Zedong once advocated: "Women in China are a great human resource, and we must develop this resource to fight for building a great socialist country ..." Its purpose is to encourage women to enter the society and strive for freedom and equality.

The times are changing, and people's ideas should also keep pace with the times. The grand cause of the new century provides a broad stage for women to display their talents. In the new era, women should further establish the spirit of "self-esteem, self-confidence, self-reliance and self-improvement", face the new situation and new tasks, persist in emancipating their minds and seeking truth from facts, and be brave in innovation and pioneering with the spirit of keeping pace with the times.

We are proud as women, and there are so many great women around us. Sisters, do you want to join this great ranks? Great women must make great sacrifices. Are you willing to devote your life to this great cause? Sisters, may you work hard, may future generations see you in the great ranks, and may they say to you: I praise you-great women.
