Postmodern concept
The concept of postmodernism, which rose in France after the First World War, rebelled against the traditional capitalist cultural thought in the cultural fields such as literature and art, and its influence spread to other countries in Europe and America. Its content is not limited to literature, but also involves painting, music and other artistic fields. Put forward the source, method and purpose of creation, as well as social problems about capitalist social system and people's living conditions. Also known as surrealists, they claim that there is a "spiritual revolution".
This movement was initiated by a group of French youths who participated in the First World War. They witnessed the absurdity and destruction of the war and doubted the traditional ideals, culture and morality with rationality as the core. The old belief has lost its charm and needs new ideals to replace it. Surrealism is their attempt on the road of exploration.
Bredon, a young poet and doctor, served in a mental hospital during the war and was exposed to Freud's psychoanalytic theory. Later, influenced by Apollinaire, a contemporary unconventional poet, he envisaged applying the exploration of the subconscious to the art of poetry. 19 19 formed a group with Aragon and Su Bo, founded Literature magazine, and merged with Dada Movement in Zara. Their guiding principle is "try to go against common sense". Bleton cooperated with Su Bo to create the poetry anthology Magnetic Field (1920) by "automatic writing". Daisy North recited a poem in a state of sleeping but not sleeping; Ernest created this painting by pasting. They often exchange experiences in exploring subconscious activities in cafes, create collectively, and try barres, a representative of capitalist civilization. Due to the lack of a clear and unified goal between Brittany Group and Dada Movement, it eventually led to division. 1924, Brittany issued a surrealist declaration, established a surrealist group and published the publication Surrealist Revolution, which parted ways with Dadaists and the surrealist movement reached its climax. The international situation developed rapidly in 1930s, and with the rise of fascist forces, class struggle became increasingly acute. The situation forced surrealists to make a choice in the face of struggle, and the original rift widened. Aragon and Ai Lvya left surrealism to join the French production party, and Pere went to Spain to fight and committed suicide. The backbone of the founding period of the movement has left one after another, and almost only Brittany is still sticking to the purpose of the movement. The movement is at a low ebb, but it is not over yet. During World War II, Bleton carried out surrealist propaganda activities together with marcel duchamp in the United States. 1946 After returning to France, he continued to set up magazines, held many international surrealist works exhibitions, delivered radio speeches and created works. Although the later surrealist activities were not as massive as in the 1920s, their influence spread to other European countries and North America, Central America and South America, attracting a group of young writers and painters, and as many as 14 countries participated in the surrealist international exhibition. Surrealism opened the way for modernist literature. Surrealism as a literary genre has not existed for a long time, but as a literary trend of thought and an aesthetic point of view, its influence is very far-reaching.

Surrealism skills:
1, automatic narrative method (Automatism): excluding rational intentional arrangement, the narrative task is completely accomplished by "arbitrariness" and "accident".
2. Ready-made objects: This is the concept of "object art" invented by Du Xiang.
3. Collage: This technique was first seen in comprehensive cubism, but it became active again in surrealism. [ 1]
4. leapfrog method; Ernst invented it to obtain suggestive images and textures.
5. Ten-language disorder: it also lies in the pursuit of unexpected fun and suggestibility of the image.
Postmodern surrealism is a school of literature and art that prevailed between the two world wars. This school originated from Dada art and has a far-reaching influence on visual art. The theoretical basis of this school is influenced by Freud's psychoanalysis and devoted to discovering people's subconscious psychology. Therefore, it advocates abandoning the realistic image of the image world based on logical and orderly experience memory and trying to integrate the realistic concept with instinct, subconscious and dream experience.
