On the afternoon of July 8, 2021, we held a mid-term report meeting on the project "Research on Using Children's Poems to Implement Life Aesthetic Education for Primary School Students" in the school reading room. Teacher Li Wei represented the research team on the early stage of the project. The work was reported, and two experts, Teacher An Ying from the College of Arts and Sciences and Teacher Mao Jie from Xinjian Road Middle School, were invited to comment and provide guidance respectively. The two experts were in a high position, carried out precise treatment, and put forward many constructive opinions on the research project.
Teacher An Ying’s guidance: 1. School-based teaching materials related to the subject should be more complete. In addition to the existing poetry collections, there must be corresponding derivative products to make the school-based teaching materials a complete system. There must be supporting teaching designs, teaching reflections, and essay collections, and solid and detailed theoretical research should be used to support, improve, and expand school-based teaching materials.
2. The system of high-quality children’s poetry courses should be clearer, focusing on literary literacy and reflecting the penetration of knowledge, skills, and methods. For example, themes such as man and nature, man and the universe, man and society, etc.
3. The research group’s children’s poetry teaching should form corresponding templates and paradigms that are operational. Each course has a training focus and clear directions. Such as observation, rhythm, rhetoric, etc.
4. The research theory must have a deep origin. Skip the new generation and look back. Recommend to students some excellent traditional poetry works by famous domestic and foreign writers and poets, such as Ye Shengtao, Bing Xin, and Rabindranath Tagore. wait.
5. Members of the research team must be innovative, well-read, and search and read professional and innovative articles through CNKI. Improve the depth and height of subject research.
6. Pay attention to the integration of disciplines and interdisciplinary presentation. Theoretical learning should keep up with the hot words of the times. In the project research, the depth of the project research is reflected through project-based learning. Use visual data such as charts and big data analysis to prove the research results.
Teacher Mao Jie’s comments:
1. The school-based teaching materials developed for the children’s poetry course can draw on the system of department-compiled teaching materials. Each topic is divided into a part with intensive examples and an independent learning part. , focusing on students’ thinking training and improving Chinese learning ability.
2. Establish and improve the evaluation system for the later stage of the project research. Through questionnaires, accurate data from the experimental group and the comparison group were collected, and large indicators such as bar charts were used to present the research results.
3. In the process of research, we should also pay attention to cultural integration, and the content of the research must be expressed accurately. Research methods are specific and detailed, and cannot be ambiguous or lumped together. For example, is the innovation in method specifically teaching method or learning method? Teaching strategies and evaluation strategies should be separated, and the perfect integration between children's poetry courses and Chinese teaching can indeed improve students' Chinese literacy.
