general situation
Originated from the creation myth of Maori, the little girl's dream about the creation myth, the mysterious garden integrated with the myth, and the beautiful and ethereal soundtrack-the New Zealand Pavilion strung together an imaginative dream world through these fragments. The theme of the pavilion is "City of Nature: Living between Heaven and Earth", which is inspired by the Maori myth of Genesis. In mythology, Tane, the god of forest, human beings and all living things, separated Rangi, the father in heaven, from Papa, the mother of the earth, creating a bright world where people now live. ? Through the architectural structure and exhibition layout, the New Zealand Pavilion has transformed this genesis myth of Maori into a gorgeous trilogy from the welcome square, the wedge-shaped pavilion to the roof garden. ?
Exhibition hall appearance
The shape of the pavilion is like flowing clouds and flying wings, which means that New Zealand is a "land covered with white clouds". The pavilion building contains New Zealand culture, scenery, humanities and other elements, such as white clouds, gardens, natural scenery and so on. The design of the exhibition hall is unique. A rooftop garden not only shows the natural beauty of New Zealand, but also reflects the unique ingenuity of New Zealanders in technological innovation.

Upon entering the exhibition hall, visitors can see the statue of the tower with hands on the ground and feet in the sky. This 5-meter-high statue vividly reproduces the moment when Tane was ready to separate the heavenly father from the earthly mother and bring light to the world. Visitors from Tane? Through his arm, he entered the "New Zealand family day" presented by film technology, felt the life fragments that New Zealanders care about and share with each other, and entered the warm moment of New Zealanders. ? When visitors step into the roof garden, they will find that the elements of the creation myth are integrated into many details of the garden design: at the entrance of the garden, the first continent created when Rangi and Papa just separated-Gondwana, and in the forest canyon, visitors can also see the Queya tree called the wife of the tower by the Maori. ?
