Dai Shulun’s ancient poem Xiaoxue and its translation

Dai Shulun's ancient poem "Little Snow" and its translation are as follows:

1. Original text: The flowers and snow are not tired of seeing the wind, and more are willing to be lost in the forest. The sad man was under the book window, and there was a sudden cold.

2. Translation: The flowers are falling in the white snow, and the wind is blowing the flowers and snowflakes. This scenery is really a sight that I never tire of. If it were me, I would hope that more flowers would fall down to make this snow-covered world more charming. But I, a scholar with lofty ambitions, was so worried. As soon as I raised my head and saw the snowflakes outside the window, I fell into deep sorrow again.
