Translation: Jinling City once accompanied the floating clouds in the sunset scenery, and also accompanied the setting sun in the autumn sound. There are countless masters of painting in this world, but no one can describe my sad state of mind at this moment.
Appreciation: This is a work on painting. The poet expressed his worries about the reality of the late Tang Dynasty through his emotion about Jinling, the ancient capital of the Six Dynasties.
2. Happy meeting with an old friend from Liangzhou on Huaishang
Wei Yingwu? [Tang Dynasty]
I was a guest in Jianghan, and I returned drunk every time I met.
After the floating clouds parted, the flowing water lasted for ten years.
The laughter and affection are as old as before, and the hair on the temples has become stained.
Why not go back? There are autumn mountains on the Huai River.
Translation: I remember when I was a guest in a foreign country, wandering across the country; I get together with you in a foreign land and return drunk hand in hand. After parting, the clouds are floating and the years are passing by. Ten years have passed in a flash. When we met today, we were in the same cheerful and harmonious mood as before, but our hair was thinning and our temples were gray. Why don't I go back with my old friend? Because of the beautiful autumn mountains on Huaishang.
Appreciation: This poem describes the poet's happy encounter with an old friend from Liangzhou in Huaishang (today's Huaiyin area, Jiangsu Province) and his emotions. He and this old friend had a relationship ten years ago in the Jianghan area of ??Liangzhou. Appreciation: Lu Kai's poem only has twenty words, but it contains infinite poetic interest and emotion. When Lu Kai missed Fan Ye, in order to express his noble and pure feelings, he specially picked a plum blossom and asked the messenger who delivered the book to bring it to Fan Ye.

Li Gou? [Song Dynasty]
People say that the setting sun is the end of the world, and you can’t see home even if you look to the end of the world.
I already hate that the Bishan Mountains are blocking each other, and the Bishan Mountains are still covered by dusk clouds.
Translation: People say that the place where the sun sets is the end of the world. I tried my best to look towards the end of the world, but I couldn't see my home. I was originally annoyed that the green mountains in front of me blocked my sight, but the heavy dusk clouds came to cover the green mountains.
Appreciation: One or two sentences of the poem are written from a distance, describing what the poet sees and feels when he looks far away. Three or four sentences are written from a close distance, describing what the poet sees and feels when he gazes at Bishan.
5. Bu Suanzi·I live at the head of the Yangtze River
Li Zhiyi? [Song Dynasty]
I live at the head of the Yangtze River, and you live at the end of the Yangtze River.
I miss you every day without seeing you, and drink water from the Yangtze River.
When will this water stop, and when will this hatred end?
I only hope that your heart will be like mine, and I will live up to my love for you.
Translation: I live at the source of the Yangtze River, and you live at the end of the Yangtze River. I miss you every day and never see you, but we drink water from the Yangtze River together. When will the endless river dry up, and when will the bitter hatred of separation cease. I only hope that your heart will stay as strong as mine, and you will not let down my infatuated love.
Appreciation: Li Zhiyi's "Bu Suanzi" has the expressive flavor of folk songs. It is as clear as words, with repeated loops. At the same time, it has the characteristics of novel and ingenious conception of literati's lyrics, deep elegance and implicitness. It can be said to be a kind of folk song.
