Canadian Poetry is the only anthology that presents the history of Canadian poetry completely —— from17th century, to the expansion of poetry activities in 18 and19th century, until the prosperity in the first few decades of 20th century. The editors edited the works of more than 50 poets, including Isabella Valencia Crawford, Bliss Kaman, archibald Lampman and Duncan campbell scott, as well as some long narrative poems, including oliver goldsmith's The Rising Village and Crawford's Katie of Malcolm.
