During the Tang Dynasty, the packaging of tribute citrus fruits from various places was very particular. Each citrus tribute from Yizhou (Chengdu) had to be wrapped in paper. There was a governor of Yizhou who believed that wrapping tangerines in paper was not of high quality, so he ordered them to be wrapped in fine cloth instead. After the tributes were delivered, Chang Shi was worried that the fine cloth would wear off the orange peels during transportation, causing blemishes. Soon, there was news that a censor from the imperial court was rushing to Yizhou for the Ganzibu matter. When Yi Governor Shi heard the news, he was shocked and said to his subordinates: As expected, he was asked by the imperial censor. When the imperial censor arrived at the guest house in Yizhou, Chang Shi hurriedly explained: The reason why the oranges were wrapped in fine cloth at that time was entirely to improve the quality of the tribute. This was a well-intentioned and wrong thing.

The misunderstanding was caused by the name of the censor. The censor's surname was Gan and his name was Zibu. This Ganzibu was not that Ganzibu.
