Representative poets of various poetic schools

The school of pastoral poetry is a school of poetry formed during the Kaiyuan and Tianbao periods in the prosperous Tang Dynasty. Representative poets are Wang Wei and Meng Haoran.

Han Meng Poetry School is a generation of poets represented by Han Yu and Meng Jiao. They are adventurous and thoughtful in their poetry creation, and they advocate taking Zhang Yiwen as their poem.

Bai Yuan Poetry School is a generation of poets represented by Yuan Zhen and Bai Juyi in the middle Tang Dynasty. As Bai Letian said, "Articles should be written in the times, and songs and poems should be written in things." .
