Trakel's Writing Style

Tracker began to write poems as early as 1904 when he was seventeen years old, and published his first book of poems in 19 13. Two years later, he published his second collection of poems, Sebastian in the Dream (19 15), and together with Heim, he became a representative figure of early expressionist poetry. He was deeply influenced by George and Hofmannsthal, especially maeterlinck and Rambo. Therefore, Trakel was also the spokesman for completing the transition from19th century romantic poetry to 20th century expressionist poetry, which played a decisive role in the development of expressionist poetry. Among all modern German writers, Trakel is undoubtedly the most legendary poet. As a pioneer of early expressionist poetry, although he died young like a meteor, he left many touching poems, which had a very significant impact on the world literary world.
