In Su Shi's To Liu Jingwen, which sentence is both about scenery and people?

Mr. Dongpo's poem "To Liu Jingwen" is widely circulated and is also a masterpiece in art. The whole poem is as follows:

The lotus flower withered, so did the lotus leaf holding the rain, and only the branches of chrysanthemum stood proudly against the frost.

Good years must be remembered, it is orange.

When the ancients wrote autumn scenery, most of them were full of sadness about autumn, but this poem was uncharacteristic and showed high vitality. Lotus and chrysanthemum have always been the beautiful scenery written by poets. The lotus leaves coming out of the water are bright and moving, and the chrysanthemums are even more elegant. But Mr. Dongpo's poem is about the dead lotus and the broken chrysanthemum, and his writing style is completely different. However, the lotus has withered and the lotus leaf has fallen. In this bleak season of cold wind in late autumn and early winter, chrysanthemums still stand proudly in the wind. Although it is chilly in late autumn and early winter, it also has an orange-green, fruitful and mature harvest side.

This poem by Su Shi is not only a praise to Liu Jingwen, but also a struggle against himself. I hope we can both cherish the good times, be optimistic and make unremitting efforts. Even when the environment is bleak and frustrated, we should not be depressed or sell ourselves short.

For most poems, etiquette has reached the point where it can be basically abandoned. However, for this poem, it is not enough. In this poem, Liu Jingwen is not a background figure with a simple experience. On him, it can be said that he was once burdened with great injustice. To understand this poem by Su Shi, we must dig deep into Liu Jingwen's life, and then we can really understand it.

This poem was written in 1090, when Song Zhezong was in office and Su Shi was the secretariat of Hangzhou. For Su Shi, it was a relatively peaceful day in his rough life. Liu Jingwen, meanwhile, served as a prison for the military forces of Zhejiang and Zhejiang, and enjoyed each other and had a very close relationship. Liu Jingwen was very talented and ambitious, but at that time he was 58 years old and still could not be reused. Su Shi praised Liu Jingwen for many times as "the first politician in the world" and had great respect for Liu Jingwen. He also strongly recommended Liu Jingwen to the imperial court and wrote this poem to encourage him.

If Su Shi was not reused all his life, the reason was that Su Shi was too single-minded (or too principled), so he was excluded by the new party and the old party in the DPRK. So, why has Liu Jingwen been ignored by the imperial court for many years?

It is necessary to learn more about Liu Jingwen's life experience.

Liu Jingwen's own resume is very simple. In his early years, he worked as a dirty little official like Raozhou wine supervisor, and then he stayed up all his life and finally became a military attache. If you are an ordinary person from a poor family, it is not bad to be in charge of the army, but you are from a famous family, and your father used to be a Qiu. In this way, Liu Jingwen has been depressed all his life.
