Yanhe Bridge Poems

Mr. Dong has a poem worthy of praise. In Selected Poems of Dong, there is a congratulatory message written by the author on1June 25, 959: a sentence on Yanhe Bridge.

The whole poem is:

There is no trace of autumn water in Yingchuan, and pedestrians are clear.

A bridge connects the east and west coasts, but Baota shan has no interest in it.

This poem is full of Dong's love for Yan 'an and his deep concern for people's life. With smooth brushwork, profound charm and full passion, the whole poem compares the situation before and after the bridge was built on Yanhe River, and praises the changes brought about by vicissitudes of life.

Dong Lao is one of the founders of China * * * Production Party and the oldest person to attend the first National Congress. He worked in Yan 'an for many years. When he learned that the Yanhe Bridge in Beijing was opened to traffic, he wrote this inspiring congratulatory poem.

The first sentence of the poem: "There is no trace of the autumn water in Yingchuan, and the steps do not hinder pedestrians." This is a description of the inconvenience caused to people's production and life by the lack of bridges on Yanhe River.

For many years, people have been looking forward to building a bridge over the Yanhe River, and this wish was finally realized at 1959. To this end, Dong Lao spoke highly: "One bridge connects the east and west coasts, and Baota shan doesn't care before."
