Zhu Yunming, born in Changzhou (now Wuxian County, Jiangsu Province), is one of the four famous talents in Wuzhong, and also a famous calligrapher and writer in Ming Dynasty.
Zhu Zhishan was very clever since he was a child, and he liked calligraphy. At the age of five, he could write big characters, and at the age of nine, he could write poems. When he was a teenager, he read widely and wrote poems in one go.
Zhu Zhishan's calligraphy attainments are extremely high, and he is famous all over the world. Many people ask him to write poems, and it is difficult for ordinary people to get his poems and words.
On one occasion, Zhu Zhishan and his good friend Tang Bohu went to Hangzhou. Hangzhou satrap has known Zhu Zhishan's name for a long time. He already knew Tang Bohu, so he took out a rare ancient painting and gave it to Tang Bohu, asking Zhu Zhishan to write a poem on it.
Although the official voice of Hangzhou Taishou is good, it is usually very stingy. Zhu Zhishan deliberately offered a high price, asking for two hundred and twenty pieces of silver as a reward for writing poems. Where is this satrap willing to give up? It took a long time to send someone to send one hundred and twenty pieces of silver.
Zhu Zhishan was very unhappy and decided to play a joke on the satrap. This ancient painting shows a small boat moored under a willow tree, with a young man standing on the bow, who seems to be going on a long trip. A young woman stood on the shore and reluctantly saw him off. Several willows were planted on the river bank, and there were some partridges and cuckoos on the trees. Zhu Zhishan thought for a moment about this painting and wrote four poems on it:
After writing, Zhu Zhishan gave the painting to Tang Bohu. Tang Bohu looked at it and smiled: "How could I send such a poem?"
Zhu Zhishan smiled and said:
"Don't rush to send it. I haven't finished writing my poem yet. He only gave me half the money, so I only wrote half. "
Hearing this, Tang Bohu gave the painting to the prefect. Satrap saw Zhu Zhishan's four poems, immediately fire emit three zhangs, angrily asked:
"What is this poem? Didn't this deliberately destroy my famous painting? "
Tang Bohu smiled and said:
"You don't be angry! Zhu Zhishan said that his poems are only one and a half. As long as you make up the money, he will finish the poem and ensure your satisfaction. "
Taishou is stingy with money, but he regrets famous paintings even more. He had no choice but to reluctantly agree. He said to Tang Bohu:
"I'll host a banquet for you two in the mansion tomorrow. Please wish Mr. Zhu finished the poem on the spot, and I will make up the money. "
Tang Bohu knew that Zhu Zhishan was just joking with the satrap, and there must be a punch line behind it to make the poem turn around, so he readily agreed.
The next day, Zhu Zhishan and Tang Bohu came to the Taishoufu for dinner. Everyone drank for a while, and the prefect ordered people to take out paintings and one hundred and twenty pieces of silver, so that Zhu Zhishan could continue this topic. Zhu Zhishan opened the picture scroll and continued the topic behind the original titles of the four poems:
Zhu Zhishan's first four sentences are really not like poetry, but after adding a few more words, they are full of poetry. There are big willows in the southeast and northwest, so many willows can't tie the lover's boat. Doesn't this highlight the theme of farewell in the painting? Du Yu, a willow partridge in the poem, all closely follows the picture, and the feeling of farewell is vividly expressed. Poetic, with wonderful.
The guests at the party read it and praised it again and again. The satrap was overjoyed and praised the poem. Zhu Zhishan also you're welcome, took one hundred and twenty pieces of silver. After the party, he went out with Tang Bohu.
