Is the easy-to-understand article just low-level? I don't think so. As we all know, many of Li Bai's good poems, simple as vernacular, are well known to women and children. Du Fu, a great poet, often reads written poems to illiterate old ladies in the village for revision. Examples of writing short articles abound: Lu Xun, Chen Yinque, Shen Congwen, Qian Zhongshu, Qian Mu, Wang Li, Deng Tuo, Ji Xianlin, Zhang Zhongxing ... which scholar's articles are not simple but have lasting charm! Because they know that articles are for people to read, not for their own collection. On the contrary, it's just some "half-bottle vinegar" gentlemen who think highly of themselves, copying a few unfamiliar words from the east to the west, and then writing them in a perfunctory way, bravado with authority. Who wants to read such an obscure article? This kind of article, as Su Shi said in "Reading Meng Jiao's Poems", "At first, like eat small fish, the gains are not worth the loss; It's like boiling worms, but holding empty claws every day. " This is a waste of energy. It should be said that it is not the fault of the masses that many literary works make people "incomprehensible", let alone the incompetence of the masses, but that the works themselves do not provide things that people can understand. As Mr. Lu Xun said: Some works are "incomprehensible, not necessarily because the viewer is too shallow, but simply incomprehensible." And he said, "You don't understand. You hate yourself for being superficial. You have been cheated." Therefore, it is not that the low level of readers reflects that the author's knowledge and writing ability are far from everyone's level and need to be improved.
