Extended information 1. Creation background
This poem was written in 1986. At that time, Wang Guozhen was already in his thirties. His works spread like a net to publications at or above the national level. The rejection rate of 90% made him realize that he had accomplished nothing and worked hard, but he failed to live up to the good times for no reason. He is anxious but can't find the direction, full of resentment but nowhere to exert himself.
Wang Guozhen, who can't see the direction and find the exit, but firmly believes that the future is bright and worth looking forward to, wrote this poem. This poem is also submitted for the third time. Pursuit was published by China Youth Publishing House in February 1988, and was later accepted by readers as the first work in issue 10/988. Poetry has its own charm, and this song "Love Life" has brought him many bosom friends.
