Laura's image

Partridges are native to southern China and inhabit mountainous areas. They are shaped like female pheasants, with white spots on the chest and purple and red feathers on the back. In spring, the sound is frequent, calling for another. The voice is sad, like "I can't be a brother." In the eyes of the ancients, partridge is a kind of spiritual animal and the sustenance of the ancients' feelings.
