Wang Wei's works were mainly created in Kaiyuan and Tianbao years, and they were the products of the prosperous Tang Dynasty. Later generations paid special attention to Wang Wei's five-character poems. In fact, all his work is good, not just five words. In his early years, he wrote many famous seven-character Yuefu, such as Old General, Taoyuan Star and Song of Luoyang Girls. Perhaps it was these poems that made him famous as soon as he arrived in Chang 'an. His May 7th quatrains are also excellent.
In Wang Wei's ancient poems, the criticism and exposure of society is undoubtedly the result of the poet's active involvement in society and life. Although his mood is not as angry as Li Bai's, it is also promising, not complaining and pretending. It is precisely because of this positive attitude towards life that "young people are shallow, and those who are good at learning will become officials" that his poems, whether praising ideals or suppressing the criticism of reality, make his works show high spirits and strong momentum. At the same time, the description of landscape in Wang Wei's ancient poems also shows an anger and enthusiasm everywhere. In Wang Wei's poems, there are also many ways to express his heart directly, which often appear natural and smooth, with implications. For example, "Send Yuan Er's Anxi": "Advise you to drink more wine, there is no reason to go out to the West." Care and consideration are beyond words. There are frontier poems and other poems on various subjects. Although there are some differences between these poems, they show the style of prosperous Tang Dynasty.
Evaluation of Yin Kun: Uygur poetry is elegant and agile, with fresh ideas and pleasant artistic conception. It's a pearl in spring and a picture on the wall. Every word is different.
