Five steps in the teaching of ancient poetry

Five-step formula of ancient poetry teaching: disassembling, watching, reading, understanding and appreciating.

Five common steps in learning ancient poems;

First, open the topic. For example, "Farewell to the post of Deputy Governor Du" in Shu's "Farewell" shows that this is a farewell poem. We know that this poem is written for Du Shaofu, who is a friend who is going to work in Zhou Shu. From the title, we can have a general understanding of the content of this poem.

Second, look at the author and background. Only when you know people can you talk about things, articles and poems be written in time. Only by understanding the author's life experience and poetic style can we have a high degree of affection for his poems, and only by understanding the writing background can we know what the specific content and emotion of the poems are.

Third, reading poetry is poetic. First of all, we should understand poetry according to its content and summarize it in our own language. This will help us to understand poetry better.

Fourth, understand the theme and emotion. Through the understanding of the content of poetry, we can analyze what the poet wants to convey to the writing object or reader and what he wants to express.

Fifth, skill appreciation. Different poems will use different writing methods to express their thoughts. Through this method, we can discover and gradually appreciate the contents of poems and the thoughts and feelings that poets want to express.

Do three must-see things:

1, be sure to look at the topic (the topic is often the eye of the poem, or the central event, which helps to understand the content of the poem).

2. Be sure to meet the author (know the world and the author's style).

3, must read notes (you can use this to understand the emotional tone of poetry, difficult knowledge allusions, and sometimes the answer is also among them.
